The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I would say that's too much, unless you're only going in there for 1/2 hour and training one single bodypart per session. Definitely not the most efficient way to train, though. Apparently you've got lots of time on your hands.

I train 5 days a week, but give only 1 day to abs, as a "rest" day.
Monday, Tuesday, "rest", Thursday and Friday. I wouldn't borry to train 6 times, but I just get lazy on weekends... LOL

I train no more than 4 days a week. Anything more is just too much, with the big compound movements and all.

I train 3 TBT a week, usually going for an hour or more.

I do heav cardion work 4 times a week in the gym, and 3 times a week on the water in the rowing boat.

    and i still get fat
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

The body can defiantly handle 6 or even 7 day weeks. A program and conditioning will be key. Not to mention lots of time to train, eat, and rest.

I know some people TRAIN 6 days a week, but how many actually LIFT 6 days per week. Training could mean cardio, too. I think that for anyone to lift 6 days a week is too much, unless as I stated before it was a very strict program targeting each muscle group no more than twice per week for limited sessions with diet, rest, etc, being spot on.

I followed for a while and got great gains. If you eat/sleep enough and have decent-good genetics you'll recover fine.

Well, since I'm doing WBBI I hit the weights 3X a week with some cardio on 2 or 3 other days. The most I've done before was 5 days a week.

I lift 3 days a week usually. Sometimes 4 if I feel like doing some light oly or shoulder work. I usually also do a day or two of HIIT cardio.
