The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

LOL, it still makes me laugh that England invented the imperial units and we still use them and they don't.

Anyway, even if you can't get 365 even, I'm sure you could get close. You have smaller plates don't you. Just tweak it. I don't know what sizes you got, but an example would be eight 20Kilo plates (four on each side) comes out to 352lbs. Add six 1Kilo plates (three per side) and you'd be up to 365lbs.
But I don't know what plate sizes you have there.... so I dunno if you have 20 and 1 kilo plates

    165.91 kilos

    thats 6 20kg, 2 10kgs, and 2 2.5kg... easy

Im going for 10 reps with 10 secs rest in between each.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

DUDE, you're avatar always reminds me of that Pantera cd cover! Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about. I think it's the "Vulgar display of Power" cd.

chub - 405 double overhand is not a weak grip, thats much better than most people, you are wrong

fuzzy - that comes out just short but maybe make it right with some locks, only fair to make it exactly 365

Vicious - i have no idea what your talking about..think my avatar may need changing though

the people saying you cant do 365 for reps..THIS IS YOUR MOTIVATION!

personally i wanted to do 315 simply because i have never tried to rep out on 315...but oh well, we can do that one another time

Can I compete if I do cleans instead of deadlifts? Theoretically I am still deadlifting, right?

    Just kidding.

Id much rather do 405, its alot less troublesome but Im thinking ill do fairly well.

Not sure what qualifies as bounching but id probably pull it 50 times or so

This is why you should release and stand up between reps...

I agree. I can't lift 365, but now I have a goal to work towards.

315....365....what does it matter? The people that can rep 365 are going to be able to out rep you on 315 anyway...right?

i like you jinkies but 405 x 50 is impossible in one set, you really have to be a freak to do that.

I think he was talking about 365, not 405.

I'm going for 100 reps with one day rest in between.

Jinkies You do 365 for 50 (on vid) and I'll buy you a cigar.

Well I meant in a 3 minute period I feel I could do something around there, given I've never actually pulled 365 or any number besides 315 in the 300 range.

Id think I could do like 10 in 20 seconds, rest 20 seconds then do another 10 or so. If I timed it perfectly, theres no way I could do it without regripping, id get hurt because I wouldnt wanna quit if I was put up to the challenge.
Also ima drink a gallon of creatine right before my attempt

Edit- I demand atleast a month of training before attempting
