    My upper/lower split--what do ya think?

    Lately, I've been doing an upper /lower split twice a week: Monday, upper, Tues Lower, Wed off, Thurs upper, Friday lower. Typical stuff.

    Well, I'm now playing volleyball on Wednesdays. I was thinking of not doing a lower body workout the day before I'm going to be running and jumping.

    So I was thinking about doing:

    Lower
    Upper
    Volleyball
    Upper
    Lower

    Any thoughts? I can't see any reason why this would be detrimental to any progress.

    It looks fine. Does volleyball make your lower sore the next day? I can see not doing lower the day before volleyball...but the day after might be ok..if not then your split looks ok to me.

    Or try Mon-lower, Tues-upper, Wed-Volleyball, Thurs-off, Fri-lower, Sat-upper, Sun-off.

    I see no problemas long as you are able to recover within two days for upper body.

    lower

    vollyball
    lower
    upper
