    Hit a strong squat PR. 3 weeks ago I did the same movement and grinded out 500. My best ever was 505 in a monolift, but I did this walked out and it felt stronger than the 500 last time.

    On a side note, I cancelled my gym membership tonight so it will officially be done at the end of the month. I am moving a few towns away and the gym will just be too far to travel to 4 times per week on top of my work commute. I will join a local gym and then try and meet up and train with my buddies 3-4 times per month.

    LMAO. My best ever with it in the past was 260. I felt strong yesterday for some reason. I was told by the strongman who used to train here that it weighs 80 lbs, but maybe it's less?

    Even if the bar weighed 65; that'd still tie your meet PR. Most of the bars at my school gym are slightly thicker than regular bars, and they are a massive pain in the ass to bench with. If you do your next meet Raw again, you better hit close to 300!

    Haha, but I didn't pause this one! Still matches my all-time touch and go PR with a reg bar and I weighed 10-15 lbs heavier when I did that, so I'm happy with it. I'll be shooting for at least 275-280 at the next meet...although it would be nice to be able to bench 300 lbs after training my whole life lol.

    My grip was willing, but my back was feeling beat up! I just feel slower off the floor than normal. I contemplated trying a third rep with 520 for a PR, but I just held it at lockout for 4-5 secs and put it down. Decided on some deficits with a dead stop at the bottom. I think I might cycle these in regularly for a while to try and build up my bottom end again and to stop me from going 500+ lbs every workout, lol.
