    First session in my new gym that I joined today. It went well. I got it done in under an hour and the gym is like 1/2 mile from my new place which is fuckin awesome! I've been driving 25-30 mins each way to the gym for over a year now and it sucks on top of my long commute to and from work.

    Bench is getting back up to where it was when I was ~180 lbs. I actually think my triceps are weak. I pretty much always miss halfway up or more and my pause reps are usually very close to my touch and go.

    Know that feeling, we have a great pull up bar in my gym and it is a chore to do any weighted pulls w/o having the weight hit the wall.

    Yea and another thing that pisses me off is every pull up/chinup bar in the gym is angled on the ends! WTF just give me a straight bar. I do neutral grip off a chin/dip station and then when I want to do OH I hang off the bar from the smith machine lol.

    lmao. Prob not from this piece of crap bench I was on yesterday! I am at 225x6 with no spot right now. Best was 8 reps when I was ~180 lbs...so my strength is creeping back to that territory.

    Eh, it was my first time squatting at the new gym and I skipped this session last Friday. 355 felt heavy lol. I figure if I can do moderate doubles/triples on my own and then go to train at all natural/worlds/jd's every 2nd or third squat session than I can go heavy in the monolift.

    I was disappointed with the deficit pulls. Tried a different bar than last week thinking it would be better, but I was fighting with my grip the whole set. I think if my grip was locked in I was good for 5 easy and maybe even a 6th. Front squats were weak as hell again, I'll just keep working them until they suck less.

    Trained really fast before having dinner with my family for my sister's birthday. Found a better bar than last week for deadlifts. 515 was a bit slow at the midpoint, but grip felt strong and I was able to hold the lockout for 5 seconds with no problem. In my few weeks of training in this gym the heaviest pull I have witnessed was a slow 455 by a guy who prob outweighs me by ~100 lbs and he used straps. So needless to say I get some interesting looks when I pull lol. The front squats are feeling a little less awkward each week. Hopefully soon the numbers will become more respectable. I would love to be able to bury 3 plates for a single with no belt and to be hitting 225+ for reps. Definitely bringing up a weakness here.
