    lol looks ace to me bro. i noticed infrequent training works for me, last time i actually pulled heavy max deads i got 545 then i got hurt for a while, didnt do much squats or deads maybe one heavy per week, had the meet and made huge PRs lol.

    Stump- that is true. A lot of us deadlift too heavy too often. It usually hurts more than it helps.

    i still cant get over a 575sq at 148lbs. that number is unreal, i wanna be hitting 405 on my SDL by this summer.

    i saw something in here about ironisle, you boys lift there?

    yeah im from right over there, i know a few boys that lift there. i lift at the nysc when im home though.

    a couple of dudes i worked with at the beach, and a few from my town...both of the guys i am thinking about are pretty big, i dont know what style lifting they were into tho...on dude jerry and one jim.

    Hmmm, I'm not sure. I'm sure they know who Chris Taylor is.


    Today I skipped heavy bench to hopefully enable me to kick this cold. I felt a lot better at the gym, but I made myself not lift. Hopefully I will wake up tomorrow and feel better as I already committed to squatting with bands, lol. My back is still a bit sore though.


    I did however help Paul with his first shirt session and do some light band stuff.

    Band pressdowns- 100 total reps w/ 2 minis

    Band face pulls- 75 total reps w/ 2 minis

    (All sets done with 2 sets of blue"strong" bands....~320 or so at lockout)

    1@055x3
    1@145x2
    1@235x1(added DD briefs instead of using my canvas)

    From here I add chains...

    1@235+080 lbs CHx1
    1@235+160 lbs CHx1(added belt)
    1@235+200 lbs CHx1(added knee wraps)

    No more chains...added a mini band doubled off of the blue band...ghetto-setup...prob another 60-80 at lockout)

    1@235+200 lbs CH+MDx1(no clue but must be damn near 800 at lockout!)


    Comp. stance pause squats(loose briefs/no belt)

    1@235x3
    1@285x5
    1@305x5

    Tried something new with those...I'll try them every other week and bump them up slowly)

    Abs- 3 sets



    Nasty workout tonight. After feeling sick for 5 days I finally felt good to train. I think the extra rest helped me. My goal tonight was to pile as much band/chain weight on me as I possibly could. Those last few sets felt like a ton, but I actually handled them well. The deload was sick because it was ~70% or so of band/chain weight at the top on the last set. I know my top end can handle a **** ton of weight...I have to bring my bottom end up to speed now. I'll post some vids later.


    Hopefully I will be able to train again by Thursday...as I may be in a coma, lol. :alcoholic

    CR how are the Ace briefs? I'm currently using the Vikings, which are awesome, only my large ass makes the briefs ride lower in the back.

    I like the Ace briefs better and mine are cut real high so the belt locks them in good. My viking briefs do the same thing that you said.

    Tree trunks? tuttut I have some stick legs, just ask Paul. All I have to squat with is a strong back, hips and some nasty gear.
