    Raw is great man... no reason you can't do *some* top end stuff though. Hopefully this APA meet in May that I'm doing will be RAW... except they allow knee wraps??

    nice work on the raw squatting. those zerchers must be hell on your forearms just putting that much weight in that hold.

    what do they allow you to wear at your comps gear wise, im not too informed about comps?

    Let me just say, that sitting here two days later my legs are more sore than they've been in a while. Also, I think I figured out how I am going to work in the gear with the raw stuff too. So, this coming Tuesday I will squat both RAW and in gear. We shall see.

    Damn that is alot of reps on decline. Im more impressed with your ability to count to 17 then I am with anything else, I lose track after about 10 usually.

    Good day today. My shins are RAW!!! I put a bunch of tape on them, but that didn't matter. My goal today was to do some volume/full gear singles in gear with ~80-85% of my projected max(which I'm putting at 550). Those singles went well. The fusion is a little loose, but I think when I put on a little more size and maybe if I pinch the straps a little, it will be gangsta. Then, I wanted to pull a heavy raw set of 3-5 reps. 405 felt soo friggin light I decided to go heavier. I really thought I could double 495, but I just missed it. If I pulled raw first, I think I would have smoked it easily. I was shot on the 455 set and my hands were killing me so I only had a triple in me. Again, I think fresh I could hit 5 reps with it. It seems the more gear I try, the harder it is to deadlift. I think I'll do good in the single-ply suit.

    strong box squats and deads. How much does a suit actually help on deads? It can't be anywhere as useful as on squats, correct?

    You are correct. I get a massive amount out of my suit on squats and very little on deadlifts. Some people can get a decent amount on deads, but I haven't been able to yet.

    I always forget to bring the camera. Deadlifts are easier to tape because we don't need spotters. I put one bench video up, but my camera was died during that workout. I'll try and bring it tomorrow for some shirt work.

    How easy was it off the chest? Do u think u'll get ~405 next week with full rom in the DD? if so, that's a huge pr, or do u have a higher gym bench than meet bench? Nice workout man, weights are HEAVY!

    hizzle- I want to do some reps in the shirt. My PR off the chest with my current setup is 355x1. I think I will try and do 3x3 with 325 or so. We'll see how things go.
