Go pee before you start, lmao. Well maybe you'll still have to go later since your workouts are like 3 hours long...

765 is freakin' amazing, even if that estimate is wrong.

Trust me, I went twice before I got the briefs on. Lots of water+ lots of gatorade+ lots of fat training partners taking forever= lots of pee.

Thanks fellas. Those bands+ heavy bench on Monday really beat me up.

Real sore from this week's workouts+ playing basketball on Wednesday. On top of that I had some girlfriend issues going on which drained me mentally the past few days. Luckily, we cleared things up today before I went to the gym and things are looking good. I ended up hitting some PR's.

    5/10
    Bench assistance

    Decline press

    1@095x15
    1@135x10
    1@185x5
    1@225x3
    1@245x2
    1@265x1
    1@280x1(5 lb PR)
    1@215x12(PR/missed 13)

Incline DB press(same setup as last week)

    1@50'sx6
    1@60'sx15
    1@60'sx14

    Bench press(wide grip/high groove/slow)- 3 sets of 12

1-arm DB clean and jerk(yea I'm stupid)- up to 90x1(PR...rough)

Overhead tricep ext- 3 sets of 10-12

At this point I realized I forgot to do my lat work, soooo:

    Chins(overhand...I call them all chins)

    1@BW+00x5
    1@BW+25x5
    1@BW+35x5

    Underhand/BW only

    1@BWx10

I'm glad I managed a good workout today because going in things were looking bad. I am going to do my box squat/deadlift workout either tomorrow night or Saturday, depending on my work schedule. I had planned on going sumo in gear, but I'll see how I feel.

What are 'ace briefs'? Is that like a jock strap?

3 hours??? I'd love to train with a team, but damn.
A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

I'm not sure if that was a serious question or not, but Ace briefs are the newest of the Metal line of briefs. They are top notch and I highly reccomend them to the serious squatter who squats in multi-ply feds. GEAR!! :evillaugh

And yes, we are absolutely ridiculous with how long we take. But it's a great bunch of guys and I wouldn't choose to spend that time doing anything else.

I wasn't serious about the jock strap crack, but I wasn't up on the latest Metal line. I have Metal Pro briefs - great stuff! Do you have an opinion on the Inzer "Predator" briefs? How does the Ace line compare to that?

Not as much as you Tommy. Keep up those chest/bicep sessions and you'll have your pick of any guy you want at the Blue Oyster Bar on the weekend.

I have heard that the Metal Ace and Predators are very close in performance. I have not persoanlly used the preds, but some of my teammates have had very good success with them. Metals seem thicker and the preds seem to have "rougher" material.

It'd be funnier in person since I am about the size of one of his thighs. It's kinda like when me and Bernor go at it in my gym. I love arguing about training with a guy who is one of the strongest powerlifters in the world.

It's not really a beef, more of an insecurity on CR's part....I mean, I'm really good looking....CR just feels threatened.
