All or nothing, I love it. That type of attitude makes special things happen. I'd wish you luck, but that's for gamblers...you've worked hard for what's coming to you.

I can't stay out of the gym. I didn't go too crazy on anything tonight, but I kept my body in motion. I'm used to lifting all the time and I feel worse when I stay out of the gym. I'll do another light sq/dl workout tomorrow night and then chill out until the meet.

Thanks man. If I don't get it on tape, Sandi and Zane will(the meet directors). They always post the videos to all their meets on their website. So, if I don't get the videos up myself, I'll be able to post them here when they get them up.

I'm skipping the meet this weekend. Most likely due to the ridiculous weather this week, I am sick as a dog. I think I would bomb out early in the warmup room right now. The weather ranged from 10 degrees and snowing, to 55 degrees and raining this week. Yesterday morning I started to feel something coming on and by the time I went to bed I was all congested and had a fever. I spent the entire day in bed today back and forth between shivering and sweating my balls off.

With the thick Ace briefs under it it was turning my legs an ugly shade of purple. Once I put the thin single-ply briefs in there it was perfect. I had the straps on moderate, we could definitely make them much tighter. Even with that I could barely squeeze down to parallel with 665, but it came up no problem.
I agree Chris. My legs were slightly numb on my first test drive. I didn't even attempt to wear briefs under my Ace. I dont' think I could comprehend how much weight I could squat with briefs under my Ace. Hands down the best squat suit ever made.

I've been sick for a week. I still have a cough, but I had to get back in the gym. I'll take it easy again like this tomorrow with some squatting and then rest over the weekend. Hopefully by Monday I'll be back on schedule and back @ East End Barbell. The one good thing is I have been eating well and haven't lost any bodyweight. Hopefully I can get up to 175 or so this training cycle.

Strength feels decent, but my endurance sucks. I'm getting winded/fatigued quicker than normal, hence the weak-ass closegrips. Hopefully it will come back over the next week or so. I do feel a million times better, but not 100%.

Tomorrow I will box squat and deadlift. Most likely sumo.

Here's my plan for this training cycle as well:

Meet: May 31st SSA Imperium Full Power(Iron Asylum Gym)

Monday- Bench assistance(my goal is to work a lot on my bottom end/low rep paused benching and some full range close grips primarily)

Tuesday- Box squat deadlift day(I will use the SSB for box squats weekly, I will cycle sumo and conventional deadlifts with many variations. I will try and experiment with both zerchers and goodmornings when I have the energy and hit some rows/GHR/Abs on this day)

Thursday- Shirt bench/top end day(I plan to do full range shirt work one week, followed by heavy boards in the shirt for overload the next week. I may decide to only shirt bench 2-3 weeks on and one week off if my shouders are real beat up)

Friday/Saturday(one or the other)- Squat day(I plan to do free squats in briefs only one week, followed by heavy band squats the next. I will work on some raw squatting as a second movement. As the meet gets closer I will take some full gear reps to make sure I can break parallel.)

That's the tentative plan. I change my mind frequently, so anything is possible in 14 weeks.

    Box squat/Deadlift

    SSB box squat(Ace briefs/belt)

    295x2
    335x2,2,2,2,2,2(parallel)
    335x2,2(1" lower)

    Sumo deadlifts w/ 25 lb plates(Single-ply Fusion/straps down/belt)

    245x1
    339x1
379x1(we have 22 lb plates also)

    379+4 Chainsx3
    379+6 Chainsx3
    379+8 Chainsx1

    SSB Arched back GM's(belt)

    155x5,5,5

    Plate-loaded seated row

    3 platesx10
    4 platesx8,8

    Abs- 4 sets

First night back @ East End Barbell and it went better than I expected. The box squats and deadlifts all felt awesome. The deadlifts are hard as hell with that setup, but totally kicked my ass. I took video of the chain sets with my new camera, so I will post them up tomorrow.

    Shirt bench on Thursday.

Thanks fellas. Chubs, everyone weighs more than I do, but you're like a foot taller so shaddap.

    Last two sessions:

    2/28
    Shirt Bench

    Bench press(comp grip)

    95x5,5
    135x3
    185x1
    225x1
    275x3(5-board)

    *add Phenom/no boards*

    335x1(no touch)
    365xmiss(touched/no lockout)
    365x1(touched/slow lockout)

My lockout is weak and gay.

Reverse band 4-board press(Choked Blue bands/pinky on rings)

    315x3
    335x3
    365x3
    385x1
    405xmiss

Since 375 is my best ever full range bench, it's not completely horrible to only hit 365 in my first shirt bench workout in a month or so, but I still think it sucks. I need to be benching over 400 lbs real soon. I have to be capable of going over 400 in a full meet. I'm basically gonna be doing an assault on my gay lockout during this cycle and hopefully bring it up to par. I'm switching my shirt day to Monday to make it a priority.

    3/1
    Heavy squat

Reverse Band squats(Purple/Light bands doubled over the monolift)

    *Ace Briefs*

    345x1
    435x1
    525x1

    *add belt*

    615x1

    *add knee wraps*

    705x1
    755x1
    805x1(PR...first time trying these)

    Squat(raw/walked out)

    145x2
    195x2

    *add belt*

    235x2
    235x14 or 15(lost count)

    Plate loaded pulldowns(OH)

    3 plates x10
    4 plates x8
    3 plates x12

    Abs

    3 sets of 12

Awesome squat day. I came in today not really knowing what I'd do. I planned on squatting in briefs and maybe doing some reps. CT had just got done with reverse band squats and said he really liked it. I really liked them too. I really felt those weights when I unracked them in just the briefs! Weights feel much lighter when you have the support of a full suit on. The bands would take off 200+ at the bottom and not too much at the top. We are gonna be using these instead of squatting against bands for this training cycle. Should be fun. I have some videos that I'll post up later.
