    That was it. The top end stuff didn't go too great, but considering I am down ~10 lbs bodyweight from last training cycle, I say my strength isn't far behind. 405 felt real good I just jammed it into the uprights at the top. I did however, really like the board set at the end with 315. It is basically like the Asylum boards I used to do raw, but this time I used the shirt. Kicked my triceps ass.

    Next shirt session I will do some full range singles and see where I'm at.

    That was it. My legs and back were really sore so I just wanted to get in there and move around. I had to finish quickly because I am headed out with my whole family to celebrate my grandfather's 80th birthday. Tomorrow I rest finally(well I play a double-header of softball in the morning) and then back to speed work on Monday. I definitely have to tweak the workouts a bit to make 6 days work, but I love being in the gym right now so I'm sticking with it.

    softball FTW... I'm on a team myself. Still can't hit the ball over the damn fence. It's only a 280 300 280 field, and there are much weaker/smaller guys pokin it out. It pisses me off beyond belief.

    Haha, I hear ya. I hit one out the first game of the season. Since then I've hit a bunch to the fence, but that's it. Just missed one ysterday and only got a double because I was watching it.

    I'm going down to deadlift tonight. I'd like to go down there on Friday to bench and Saturday to squat. Weds/Thurs I will train by me.

    That was all I had time for as Old Man Willers was itching to lock up. I felt great pulling in the canvas. It is loose enough that I can get to the bar and pull in a good position. 545 flew from the ground to lockout, but I have some serious issues right at the top when the weigh gets above 500. I am going to post the video of 545 tomorrow so you can judge for yourself. My shoulders are just rounded forward at the top, but I am fully locked out. I think it would be the case where some people might pass it while others wouldn't. It is very frustrating because whatever this upper back/rear delt weakness is it is holding me back a good 40-50 lbs on my deadlift. If I can figure out how to correct it I should be good for a big PR. I hope when I post the video that somebody might be able to give me some exercises to strengthen the area.

    Nothing too crazy today. Worked on my raw squat groove a bit and it felt pretty good. I kept it nice and light, but my hips didn't seem to bother me at all. Tomorrow I plan to do some form of "heavy" bench sans shirt and then hopefully get some gear squats in on Saturday.

    Heavy bench all by my lonesome in the commercial gym. That place is dead on Friday nights. I think there was maybe 5-6 other people "training" in there. Lifting off 225 by myself is like a complete max effort, so I didn't feel too confident going heavier or trying more reps. I decided to do some lockouts just to get heavy weight in my hands and then finished with some light stuff.

    Tomorrow I will squat and then hammer my upper back.

    One game of 21 vs Bernor and Domingo. CR, although at a serious height/size disadvantage, dominates for the victory.



    It was like a million degrees in the gym and I felt horrible squatting. I squeezed into the tighter canvas I had, but it was making my legs numb, so I decided to switch. I took the 635 out way too high(like on my neck) and my groove was terrible. After that I just basically hammered my upper back. I think I'm going to chooose my next meet soon so I can setup an actual training cycle and try to stick with it. I have had no real squat plan since my last meet.
