    TOMATO SAUCE!!!


    Went out for my buddy's birthday tonight. It was just 4 of us. We had a few at my buddy's house, then we went to the first bar. We were on our way to our next and last stop and one of my friends wanted to make a quick stop at another bar. HE knew someone there and wanted to stop in. We said, "one beer and we're out". I think we were in there a total of 15 seconds and I was in a headlock and getting thrown out(my buddy had the headlock on me). It was funny as hell. Some guy(who bartends there normally) was drunk and my friend came up to the bar and said something to his girlfriend. It was nothing bad, not rude, just an innocent comment(my friend is about 6'4" and 285 lbs BTW). This guy comes up to my friend and says something about it being his gf and my friend pats him on the back and says no problem. He throws his hand off of him and in the process hits me in the face. Then he says"Don't touch me". So my friend is trying to stay calm, but I am getting angry. I step into this douche's face and tell him to calm the F down. The bouncer(his friend) is right in my face telling me we have to leave right now....we didn't even order a drink yet. As the bouncers are inbetween us...this drunk bastard tells me to lean into him again. Since that is a physical impossibility at this time, I tell him I will lean into him outside(in not so nice words over and over). TO which he had no response. I get carried out of the bar by my own friends with the bouncer right in my face, the whole time calling this fag out. The bouncer even admitted we did nothing and it was that guys fault, but since he was friends with them we had to leave. We just laughed about it and went to the next bar. I just think it's funny. I'm usually the smallest in our group of friends that go out and I think people don't expect me to get in their face. I am usually the one who needs to be carried or dragged away from the situation though since I don't back down. Damn Napoleon complex, lol.

    1st:375-miss(tried to dump it on my face, but spotters caught it)
    2nd:375-good(grind city/horrible)

    Deadlift

    3rd:560-miss(literally 1" from finishing/damn gay lockout)


    Total: 1605(65 lb total PR)



    I was stoked about my squat, but my bench sucked. Had real trouble staying tight and I was doing a horrible job of flaring my elbows. I was happy with my second attempt deadlift and I absolutely hammered 560 to just before lockout and I couldn't shove my hips through. My grip held up fine though.

    It was definitely a fun time as always with a great group of people. The team did a great job of helping each other out and all the competitors really got behind each other. Real good atmosphere.

    I definitely have some work to do...Bench Bench Bench Deadlift lockout Bench Bench. I want to be pushing 1700 the next time I get on the platform. I also have plenty of room to grow into the 181's. I weighed in this morning after breakfast. I could probably put on a good 8 lbs or so and still be good.


    Back to the gym on Monday...hopefully I'll be going out for some beers tonight.

    You saving yourself for the deadlift by passing on your 3rd squat? With your training mindset you should have no problem killing that 1700.

    Thanks bro. I felt like a heavier attempt would do more harm then good(I had to fight to finish the 700). I knew my bench was gonna be rough so I opted to go straight to it. My goal was to hit 700.

    Here's the video of my successful meet attempts. My bench was very ugly and I squeezed by with a slight up and down. The squats sure moved a lot faster than they felt, lol. I wish the 560 pull video was on there so you could see how close I was.
