    Yea, I figured if I am squatting raw I should walk weights out. Hook felt ok, but my thumbs are chewed to bits. They were burning pretty bad.

    Ive been throwing in more raw work myself. I really think thats whats helping me in my squat, that and when i go raw i dont wear a belt either. Nice work Chris

    Thanks Treston. I have been doing a lot of pulls with no belt lately and then just recently added in the squats. I'm hoping it will have some carryover once I get into my meet cycle in gear.

    Nah, that was a few gyms ago now. We actually train in the basement of a church now.

    Didn't get enough sleep the past few days and have had terrible headaches since yesterday. Decided to train locally so I could bang it out and get some decent rest tonight. Popped some advil and did what I had to do.

    My elbows have been feeling beat up for the last week or so. I am going to try and stay away from the extensions for a week or two and see if it helps. This was my first week of triples and the two sets were easy. The hardest part was handing myself off. Next week I will do this workout @ EEBB and get a handoff. Tried some declines at the end for some more volume since I wasn't doing and extension/pushdown movements. My triceps gassed out pretty quick, lol.

    Took me a few pulls with 405 to get used to the regular gym bar compared to the deadlift bar, but once I got going they got easier and easier. All in all it was a pretty simple workout. Tomorrow I will do my back assistance.

    Benching still feels good and my work sets are still pretty easy. My buddy was in the gym so I had him give me a handoff on the second set with 195. It felt even easier than the first set and I felt like I had 3-5 more reps in me. Hopefully I can keep feeling good benching and end up with a nice 20+ lb raw PR in 3 weeks.

    That was enough to totally kick my ass. My warmups on squat felt nice and light and then when I did 365 the first time it felt terrible. There was a bit of a miscommunication where I thought I was getting an up call. I went a little deeper than I should have and it just felt a bit weird coming up. I retook it with an up call and it was easier. Then I figured I would do 385 for 1-3 reps since I wasn't feeling as well as I hoped. The triple wasn't too bad, they were eggin me on to do more reps but I walked it in after the 3. If I can manage 405x3 next week I will be very pleased.

    The band tension on the deadlifts felt pretty nasty. Our monster minis are very new. I really don't know what they add, but I just wanted to get some work in locking out some heavy stuff. I figure I got 11 reps of work in at something well over 500 lbs. Then I finished off with the dimels against those bands and they absolutely lit up my hammies and glutes.

    Tomorrow I will join my new gym(Gold's) real close to where I live.
