    Felt totally shot today. I need to sleep more...like now! Totally slacking during the week on sleep. Somehow I managed to squeeze out a PR double raw. I then got back in the shirt for the first time since the Feb meet. I benched 365 in that meet and today I tripled it. Guess I can't complain. Each rep of the triple a seam in my armpit started to tear a little more, luckily it held together for all the reps though.
    How do you like that Super Phenom?? I had a Super Katana I couldn't even touch to a two board with 500lb. on the bar and had to go a size up.

    Nothing great tonight. My goal was to double 265 on bench for a PR, but on the second rep my elbows flared and I stalled maybe halfway. First rep was pretty strong though and that matches my PR. Next week I think I will try 275x1 if I don't suck.

    Good day today...I am glad this week was a backoff week for SQ/DL, lol. I picked up a block of chalk on the way to the gym today and it made all the difference. My best ever pull in a belt is 515 both sumo and conventional. Those were with a deadlift bar and baby powder. Today I beat that with a regular gym bar and no baby powder. I think I had a little more in me, but I will save it for another day. I start my gangsta-gear training on Tuesday anyway!!

    That was all I did. Back in gear and it went suprisingly well. I thought everything would feel like a million lbs since I haven't had more than 500 on my back in like 2 months. The band tesnion should have been somewhere between 250-300-ish at lockout, so I figure I definitely had over 700 on my back at the end. I really felt like I could have went to 505 after the last one, but I felt I was already pushing it with my knee which was really acting up. I'm still stoked to see what I will be capable of by the time Nationals rolls around.

    Decent session. The single with 270 was pretty smooth, but when I took 275 it flew off the bottom and then just hit a wall when I flared. I definitely have brought my bottom end up, but I need more band work to work that transition.

    Felt pretty good tonight. The 501 double is a PR with a regular gym bar and was easier than my PR Grinder I hit with a deadlift bar of 505. I'm either stronger now or there really is no difference pulling with a deadlift bar and a regular bar, lol. I was gonna double te 506 for a 1 lb PR(LOL), but after the first rep I just held it for a bit and left it at that. I am going to start doing the Kroc rows and shrugs every week and try and bump them up. The setup with my left arm wasn't very good and the set felt off. The right arm was dead on and the set of 12 was easy. Next time I will use the same weight and get more reps. Time to chill with my girl and relax for the weekend.

    Damn good weekend! Spent Friday night with my girlfriend, Saturday night I went out with my two best drinkin buddies and we closed down a bar @ 4:00 AM, lol. I regretted that when I went to bed @ 5:00 AM and had to be up by 8:00 for my softball games.     Thursday is the day I do top end/shirt stuff. I just haven't done enough. I did some reverse bands a few weeks ago and boards against minis this past week. I want to start doing shome shirted board stuff to really overload the top and get used to holding bigger weights.

    The canvas is just too tight on my upper thigh and it cuts off the circulation to my legs real bad. My right leg was pretty much numb and I just didn't feel I had control of the 645, so I came up high. Weight felt light on my back and it was the most I have ever tried to do without knee wraps, but I just didn't feel confident to take it all the way down. Next time I will use my normal, Big crotch, canvas.


    Between fighting to get the suit on and then fighting to get it off, I was totally shot. I started to pull, but only got up to 470 and I just felt like crap so I shut it down. Sometimes you find gold when you experiment with different suits, sometimes it sucks and it seems you waste a session. No biggie, next week I will do something gangsta.
