    For some reason I was never able to squat in an Inzer Hardcore. I found my old one from 2002 and threw it on. It always pitches me forward out of the hole when I put the straps up and it gives me no hip support. I dunno, I did 415 easier in just a belt and wraps a few weeks ago. Decided to stop and just pull.

    Good session. I was able to squeeze through the sticking point again on the deadlift lockout on my top set. I really feel like my glutes and hips are engaging better and I am able to push through much better.

    I was going to go train again today, but I donated blood and I almost passed out, lol. The guy suggested that I just rest and eat today...and I agreed! lol I will go to the gym tomorrow.


    I am going to be doing something a bit diffeent with my training, but very simple. Basically like an A and B day thing and train on the days that I am available since my schedule is changing a bit. I will use the same basic exercises on each different day, but will make variations with bands, chains or an occasional machine substitution.

    Wasn't sure if I would feel weak after giving blood yesterday for the first time, but judging by my bench PR's I guess not. Squatting didn't feel great, but I decided to keep reps low and not push it too much because I do not want to be sore to start the week if I start work this week. I will push the squat reps up when I squat at the end of the week so I will be sore at the end of the week. I don't want the foreman to think I am some kind of biatch that can't carry or move stuff when I first start working, lol.

    This is what my workouts will generally look like for a while. No set days, I will train when I have time....hopefully no less than 3 days a week and up to as many as 5 days.

    Session A
    1.Deadlift variation
    2.OH press(most likely with a clean, hang or full)
    3.Chins
    4.Face pulls
    5.Hamstring band curls or hypers


    Session B
    1.Bench press
    2.Squat variation
    3.Rows
    4.Tricep ext
    5.Some type of leg assist or pull thru


    Session C

    This will be a much lighter, higher rep session that I will do when I am feeling too beat up to go heavy on one of the other sessions. I will do both upper and lower movements, prob in the 10-20 rep range. I have mixed these sessions in for the past year and I liked them and think they are a good change from heavy all the time.


    So I will most likely do the heaviest attempts on the few days a month I will be training out @ EEBB and on all the other days I will probably just try and work as heavy as I can in the 2-6 rep range.


    Hopefully this will increase my raw strength and then I will decided if I want to do a meet raw or maybe get back into gear and train for a meet sometime next year.

    Managed to squeeze out a PR with no belt on the deadlift. I had done 495 before with a deadlift bar and baby powder...did this today with a regular gym bar and chalk only. Second rep hit my knees and I lost grip. After that I did some work on my cleans which suck. I used a hook grip today which seemed to help a bit and I was talking to another guy there that was doing them with over 200 lbs and he gave me some tips. I will just keep working them and I will get better.

    Good session today. Hit a PR on all three worksets on bench. This was all done again with no liftoff or spotter. Definitely helping me gain some confidence when I lay down under the bar. My hips weren't super happy on the box squats so I didn't push them. The narrow power squats killed me again, my quads and glutes already hurt, lol.


    Tomorrow I will attempt to pull against bands @ EEBB if I can walk.

    Decided to add a twist to the band pulls today and started adding chains after I hit 3 plates. I was able to really overload the lockout on those. The last one should have been over 600 at lockout and although it was damn near impossible to lockout, my grip held up just fine.

    I will prob go in tomorrow for some upper back work.

    Went in today to do some assistance stuff, but I have wicked tendonitis or something going on from my forearm into my bicep of my left arm and it was making it impossible for me to go heavy. I just did some light sets and some abs and thats it. I will rest tomorrow and see how it feels for Monday.

    Another good day for benching. Steadily hitting 5 lb or 1 rep PR's each session it seems. My technique feels good and I am staying much tighter in my arch and in my upper back. I am going to hit some lockouts or bands next time to hit overload my triceps a bit, since I seem to be doing fine out of the bottom right now with the pauses.

    I forgot that I suck at inclines, lol. I think I will use them a bit as assistance for reps and just slowly try and bump them up 5 lbs a week or so. Did what I could for rows/upper back. I couldn't go too heavy because of the tendonitis pain in my left arm, but I got some work in.


    Decided to switch it to upper/lower for a bit and see if I like it better. Tomorrow I will do some lower stuff.

    I was doing the last set tap and go from the top down. The 3 reps were easy, but when I tried to take my air at the top after the 3rd rep I felt something funky in my back and decided to stop. It is sore as hell now, but I am sure after a few days it will be fine. I have felt this pain in the past and it just took a few days or advil and rest to make it go away.

    Should be back in the gym tomorrow for some upper work.
