    Just tried to do something light for my biceps since my left bicep/forearm is still killing me on certain movements. These made it feel a little better.



    Felt strong benching again. I have to keep hammering my trieps/lockout because my pause reps are almost the same as my touch and go. I am shooting for 280-290 at the end of November.

    Helped my friend's softball team out on Wednesday night. I hadn't played since my season ended close to 2 months ago and my legs and abs got sore as hell from it. I was walking around like a cripple today and it was SQ/DL day, lol. Not a good combo!

    After that single I threw my lever belt on the floor, not hard, just dropped it and the lever snapped off. Totally sucked! So I was gonna shut it down for squats since I didn't feel great anyway....but I decided to steal a lever off another belt and put it on mine. So I put 425 on and switched to my stronger knee wraps. I hit the hole, but loosened up too much and rounded over. I moved it like 2" and had to have them take it. Decided that was enough squatting for the night. Very gay.

    I was not expecting any PR's today going in because I hadn't eaten much today(I spent the morning/afternoon with my gf and her family). I came home and had my normal preworkout meal of protein shake/waxymaize/caffeine and I guess it did the trick. On the 245 set on bench I may have had a 5th rep, but didn't push it with no spotter. The 4 reps was still a PR with that weight. Next time I push it that high I should be good for 245x5 or 250x4. I also bumped up the weight a bit on seated rows and they didn't hurt my bicep/forearm.


    Will prob do a light Lower session manana.

    My warmups didn't feel too special, but both heavy doubles on bench were strong. I would have tried a third rep on each if I had a spotter. That is definitely the heaviest weight I have ever handed off to myself and it wasn't too much trouble. On the floor presses, I decided to do my first work set with the highest weight and then work my way back. It worked out well because I was able to get more reps of heavier weight.

    That's it. Felt like total garbage. Everything felt slow and weak. I was planning on pulling 475 and then adding some chains, but it was not going to happen tonight. I said this week was supposed to be a deload and it should have been. Next week I will make myself not squat or pull heavy.     Did it just get shorter in here?

    What's up man? I don't really remember when I did my first meet @181. I think it was sometime last year. For now I am staying there. I am competing old Skool in February(belt and wraps) and will go from there. I plan on weighing in at a full 181, hopefully not having to cut weight. After that the plan will be to get back in full gear and hopefully put up a big total by the end of 2010 @181. Maybe the following year I will make my chubby 198 debut, lol.

    I have no will power, lol. I think it moreso has to do with the fact that I am not working right now. I sit home and look at lifting videos and read articles and it just makes me want to go and lift. I was happy with today's effort. The set with 370 was strong and I had no spotters or power rack to save me, otherwise I would have hit a few more reps. The set of 10 was easy too, but I felt like 10 reps was enough, lol.

    Weird day. All morning I felt run down, like I was getting sick. I think I am being attacked by the swine flu, but it didn't take me down yet. I took a bunch of vitamins, drank a ton of water and made the decision to train later on. Somehow it was a PR day, lol. I took my old max on bench and doubled it with no liftoff or spotter. The first rep I smoked and the second was slowed halway up and I had to grind it out. After that I did a ton of assistance. I will now take the next two days off from the gym...FO REALZZZZ!!!! Then, as long as I am not really sick I will train Lower on Friday.
