    From time to time they bother me a little. I definitely seem to get more issues with bicep/forearm tendonitis. I crank my hands in real tight when I squat so it definitely becomes an issue at times.

    Saturday I was very limited for time so I went in and Pulled sumo up to 520. Hit one single wide and one with my hybrid stance. I also did Pulldowns and that was it.

    Felt like crap coming in. My softball season started yesterday and I was on base a lot and did more running than I have done since last season. My legs, hips and everything were sore as hell today. I made myself work up to 500+ just to show that I can still crush that weight when feeling like shit.     Wasn't feeling great so I decided not to do deficit pulls. So I start messing around with conventional with the roll technique and of course all my warmups are like speed reps. I was easily talked into jumping from 5 plates to 6 for an all-time PR attempt. I think it would have been smarter to take 545 first because I don't think my body was ready for it. No biggie, next week I'll be back to my hybrid stance w/chains.

    Didn't feel great today, my back was definitely feeling the effects of a missed heavy DL attempt from last night. I was training alone and knew it was gonna be tough to get the PR I wanted coming in. 430 was not at all fast and I almost decided to leave it at that. I decided to call myself a bitch and put the PR weight on and gutted it out. Then I got some good reps in with wraps. Probably had a few more in the tank. I hope to be up to ~475x5 in the next 3-4 weeks.

    Yesterday I went to a local IPA meet to see a few of my training partners lift. They put up some big numbers!


    Sandy Tepper- 1820@165 Multiply for a huge PR!
    John Gaglione- 1950@275 Multiply , just missed a pull for a 2000 total. First meet down at 275.
    Mark Greenstein- 1825@198 in Belt/Wraps!! I believe that puts him 5th ALL TIME. It was his first meet cutting down to 198 and only like his 4th meet ever. FREAK SHOW!

    Huge squat for me! I have done reverse bands twice this cycle. First time I did 550x1 in the monolift with Light bands. The second time I hit 530 with mini bands in the power rack. This time I did the same setup, but with monster minis. I was shooting for 545-550, but I crushed 545 so I went for 570. It felt pretty damn heavy and it was definitely pushing my biceps(tendinitis) , but the speed actually was pretty good so I prob had a little more in the tank. Still 7.5 weeks out from the meet.
