biceps are hit directly the day after the horizontal back workout (biceps being hit indirectly). in addition, biceps are hit again (indirectly) on vertical back workout.
wouldn't these overtrain the biceps ?
if you want, do biceps on day 1. i tried that for a bit.

I had the exact same concern prior to starting BGB, now that I'm using it I find that 3 sets of curls on quad dominant day is fine for me. Try it out and if you think you're over training then just leave the curls out and let the back days take care of everything.

I overtrained arms for ages. Now i don't directly hit them at all and i added an inch (also due to eating more)

I do BGB exactly as it's laid out and to be honest I can't really see my arms growing with only indirect work. The direct work on Quad dominant day is essential for me, but I only do 3 sets of either seated alternating curls or 3 sets of concentration curls.
Any more is probably overtraining and certainly unnecessary, especially given the heavy chin-ups and lat work on the third BGB day.

i semi-agree with built, the work isnt necessary, but the biceps are such a small muscle, they repair fast and can take quite a bit of abuse, however they may not respond to all the abuse given. a set of curls here and there wont hurt ya any.
Squats work better than supplements.

Quick Hijack......I feel like BGB only hits chest hard on one day and everything else twice...I know it gets hit indirectly...but I don't see how really or atleast I don't feel it.
