Physio ball rev hyper 3x6
Did this first thing in the morning, it helped me feel human again. Pretty beat up from the first two solid days of training back in a row.
Made homemade pizza Saturday night, well, actually Jessica did. I hammered quite a few. That and the sodium put me up to 289. Gotta be super strict this week. I was 286 last Friday. I'd like to be 285 or below this Friday.
Liked the back workout. Good stuff and a few ideas I can incorporate into my own training.
Wed, crappy news. Came home to find our amazing 11 year old rottie had passed peacefully in her sleep. I am absolutely devastated. There were no signs anything at all was wrong. I guess we should all go so peacefully. I hope we gave her a fraction as good of a life as she gave us.
Thurs, Jess and I got ourselves in the basement to do some work. She trained and I foam rolled and got on the treadmill. Did 20 minutes speed intervals. Gotta press on.
Shrug face - too funny.
I really like the video log. Seeing how you set up exercises in your basement gym gives me ideas on how to accomplish the same thing in my garage. Appreciate you putting this stuff together for us.
How long is your training cycle? I.E., do you already have another meet planned that you are working towards?
June - you have plenty of time to put things together. Seeing you do something different than previous training is interesting - like teaching an old dog new tricks. People said it couldn't be done.
Really, really like the videos Vinny. Keep 'em coming!
Sorry hearing your dog passed, bet he was like family and cannot be replaced.
Doing quite well as usual with the training, and it shows in the vids! - dig the overall approach.
Treadmill, 20 minutes interval
More time on the hamster wheel. Nothing too crazy. It's at a very low interval. I do think some conditioning work is a must for health, conditioning, and recovery.
I'd like to do some more aggressive conditioning, but Josh told me to take it easy. I can't let it get in the way of my benching. There will be time for it down the road.
I appreciate the time you put into the videos, it's incredibly helpful to review detail documentation.
Just a lil guy trying to be fit.
Best competition lifts:

Weight 145, using ConjugateWod training methods to develop Crossfit-applicable strength with extra work for learning movements and conditioning.
how are you doing bent rows and landmine twists with 2 ruptured discs? Mine are herniated and there is no way I could do either of those. Which ones are ruptured? Do you have plans to have them repaired? What has worked as far a rehab for them? Let me know, thanks.
That's the big one for me, not doing anything that hurts. All these years later I have to be careful. The bent rows I support myself with one hand on my knee. I cannot do bent over barbell without any appreciative weight. It kills me. The land mines are pretty light. I can trap bar dl and ssb squat. I am able to keep my spine in a bit of a more neutral position with those. I cannot use a barbell at all for them with any decent weight.
No plans to have them repaired. I just live with being a bench only sissy.
