Thanks guys. I finally see my name up in the logs. I think there will be an interview up tomorrow. I don't even know how to get on the site yet.

The guys over there feel like family. I'm glad I made the switch and joined the team. I feel really honored to be sponsored by both ALN and EliteFTS.

-15 minutes on treadmill--was supposed to be 20, but my treadmill keeps shutting down on me. I'm calling bs. Why is the thing sutting down now that I'm losing weight. I was beggin' for that thing to break down when I was on it at 320.

    Hey Vincent,

You're spot on about the conditioning.

I did a circuit yesterday which probably 2 months ago would have killed me. I felt I had a ton more gas in the tank after it too. Feels great to be able to go much further now!

Good job on losing the 23lbs by the way!

Thanks all, life is good. I'm a lucky man.

    9/11/09 ME Bench
    -Bench 135x10, 225x5, 315x3, 405x2, 495x1, added Metal Ace bench shirt 605x3
    -Bench 4 board close grip 405x5, 495x5
    -Pulldowns to sternum 100x7, 150x7, 200x7, 250x7
    -36" Box jump
    -Face pulls 100 4x10
-Low cable curls with strap 50 2x10, 1x15
    -Dumbell shrugs 75 2x20

    Video

It was a good first night back in the shirt. I like the Metal Ace. It's cut more like a denim, but it's made out of a thick and sturdy poly material--I guess. I soaked the shirt because that's what I do when breaking a shirt in. I wore it up all the way. Rhodes just snugged the shirt, but did not pull it down. I was close to touching on the third, but I am not going to beat myself up. I'll touch at least the third with 625 next week.

I had more planned for the board presses, but I quickly figured out that's what was hurting my pec. I will not do board presses again until I feel the pec is 100%. I'll stick with pushdowns on ME day and extensions on DE day.

Of course I boxed jumped for assistance. It's an integral part of my bench program.

    9/12 19X out of 20

Lost my X today. Went off my diet and did no exercise. I had a good run. I just needed a break. I'm down 23 lbs.

It's mine and Jessica's 5 year anniversary today. We ate bad food and just hung out. I'm coming down with a cold so I'm feeling more worthless than usual.

Vin for the DB shrugs do you actually feel them work your traps? I would have thought 75's were wayyyy to light to do anything for you.

I hit my ME work hard and then most all assistance is moderate to light weight done quickly. I had a stupid pump by the time I got to shrugs. I felt every single one of them. When you crush your ME exercise, you just have to get through the rest of it.

Went on a 4 mile walk to raise money for St. Vincent's Swim Across the Sound. It's a foundation that raises money to help those in need who have cancer. It's an incredible cause. My mom has battled lung cancer and is cancer free now. It was great to walk by her side. It was also great for me to walk so far. I could have gone on forever. My conditioning is so much better already.

I'd like to say more, but I am sick as a dog. I have a terrible cold.

I agree with hitting your ME stuff hard and then moderate or lighter weight on the assistance work...no need to kill yourself on the assistance work.

I'm still sick so I have not been training or doing any exercise. So that's why I'm losing .5 X a day. However, I have been staying on my diet. I'll try to hit some extra cardio and gpp later in the week to make for a few of the missed X's.

Not to sound like the company guy, but I love the Ace. It really fits and feels like a denim to me. The chest plateis much more comfortable than most poly shirts out there now. I guess the proof will be with a meet pr. That's my goal.

Nice! If you feel it's like a denim, I expect you'll do quite well in it given that's what you originally made your name in, unless I'm mistaken?
