The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    I need a new routine

Hey fellas I was wondering if there are good routines out there other than wbb1,2,and 3. I am on my 7th year of bodybuilding and was looking for a 3 day a week routine that will make my body HURT just like the good old days. By the way how long should a person do a routine for?

If by 'HURT' you mean DOMS, that has nothing to do with the effacy of a routine.

If you've been lifting for 7 years - why don't you tell us what's worked for you, and what your current goals are.

You should stick with a routine until it doesn't work any more.
    Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
"You're wrong, and I have a completely irrelevant pubmed abstract that may or may not say so." - Belial
    I has a blog.
    I has a facebook.

Personally, I've been working out for awhile and just started Bill Starr 5X5 and love it. Its 3 days a week, very simple, and very intense.
    5'9" 159lb
    Squat 230X5
    Dead 240X5
    Bench 205X4

    What does this mean?

    or

Ramping weight to top set of 5 (which should equal the previous Friday's heavy triple)

I would really appreciate it if you can clarify those above terms for me, thank you.
