    well. today was kinda mixed, awesome and none awesome. it starts with non awesome...

    deadlift : stretch, 135 warmup, 225x3 (this sh** flew, i sensed goodness...), 315x1, 345x1 hard, 385xFAIL. 315x5... terrible. 385 was utter fail, dint even LIFT off the ground. then the 315 for 5 was the harshest set to date, which makes no sense. whatever. i decided to kill my hams for this unacceptable behaviour.

    good starts here...

    full clean : 135 3x5. phew, right?

    full clean + jerk : 135 2x5... oh god, pain!

    glute ham raise : 3x10... my hams were SO fried after this. had to stretch for 3 minutes.

    static hangs for grip...

    zen and indy idk how u mofos do sets of 5x5 C+J along with tons of other stuff. i was so shot after those cleans.

    ended up being okay. the GHR and cleans made the workout worthwhile. pissed at my deadlifts though, wtf is going on?

    Haha.. I dont know bout Indy, but I do 6-8 sets of 2 singles. You probably wanna do your O movements first, before DL and Id suggest changing the range lower to like 5x3 or 5x2 or even 5 singles. This way you can get stronger in those as well. Sets of 5 dont do much good imo, bc they seem to just tire you out. I cant see the 3rd-5th rep being decent form.

    flynn - thanks man. probably, because im not going for a new 1rm for a while.

    zen - ohh, i see. i didnt necessarily want to do those oly lifts for the most weight, i just want them to get me bigger. would 5x3, 5x2 still have the same effect? i just kinda view it as front squats 5x5 with jsut a little added zest i guess.

    workout today was decent.

    bench : 135 warmup, 225 4x5, 225x7... this was an okay bench session. no improvements i dont think.

    DB bench : 55 3x10

    DB flye : 25 3x10

    dips : x10, x13, x8

    chest is actually getting somewhat thicker or whatever. its not getting wider, disappointingly, but its still getting bigger in some way.

    lol funny story. coach said some guy at work told him... "i was in the weightroom last week watching my kid, and man does that bledsoe kid lift hard. his build really is well put together" i remember the guy being in there, so coach wasnt BSing. a litlte added motivation i guess eh?

    186.5 today. gettin higher, lol!

    Nice WO man.

    O movements arent really designed to put on size. You could do this for 5x2 - this is one set:

    Full Clean, Front Squat, take a fewbig breaths and get your energy back then & Full Clean, Front Squat, Jerk (totaling 2 reps)

    So in two reps you squat 4 times. In 5 sets you squat 20 times and still be getting the most out of the movements (gaining explosivity and the squatting for size).

    Reps much higher than 2 will harm your form. Practice makes permanent. If you do 5x5 and the last 3 reps in every set are crappy then guess what? Youll learn crappy form. Give it a try next time and see what you think

    zen - this is excellent, i will try this next time. i was thinking about the form issue also! my first two are usually spot clean, and then it gets iffy. excellent suggestion my friend.

    well i've noticed that im approaching where i started to plateau before. im really gonna have to start training hard and eating more, or else i will become no better than what i have become before. i relaly think when nice weather rolls around itll provide better motivation for me and i'll start getting on the PR boat. springs just around the corner over here, it better goddamned hurry up.
