Good deal on bumping the weights on your flat bench next time out, actually overdue for it imo.

That's a ****ing ton of milk you drank last Thursday, lol. 12 cups...almost a full gallon. Mark Rippetoe would be proud. I'm cuttin the milk almost completely out of my diet. Just a cup or two a day now. Doc suspects the sheer quantity I was pulling in is what caused some of my infections. Who knows. Just get my cals elsewhere.

I think it's pretty badass that you are already experimenting with your own routines and finding the moves that work for YOU. In the end it doesn't matter what anyone else tells you to do, it just matters what really works for your body. This is the sign of someone that really is getting in touch with their system, bro. Four day splits are good **** if you got the time. My thoughts on your routine: depending on how hard you hit it, you will place some of your upper body at a high risk for injury by hitting those shoulders, chest and tris every workout. Just remember that while your muscles and mind may be able to handle it, tendons can take twice as long to recover and heal. The blood supply to connective tissues like tendons and ligaments is far less and they are not capable of healing as fast as muscle tissue. If you are feeling like there are moves that you want to try or use in your workout but are having a hard time fitting it all in or your workouts are taking forever to complete, try a rotation instead. So every 2-3 weeks or so take some moves out of the routine and rotate in some others. This is a base concept in Westside training.

Strong workout yesterday, bro. I'd say not to worry too much about your workouts. You seem to be doing things based on how you are feeling which can be the best. If you feel like throwing in a burnout set at the end or just going all out, then go for it. Not a bad habit at all. It's just how you play the sport really. Everyone has to have their own way of practicing and training, bro. It's what will define you.

I still got to get a vid of the seated DB Cleans for you. For rear delts, that **** just lights them up I swear. Did Milies followed by a 4x10 of the Seated DB Cleans last night and ****, the backs of my shoulders and traps felt like they were gonna melt off.

(ps, i realize my post was misleading. i said bulked 210 vs lean. i shouldve said fat 210 vs normal 210, lol)
That looks like a lot of overtraining, dude. That means you're training your shoulders hard every single day... and your hamstrings which usually take quite some time to recover, don't have nearly enough time the way you have things listed. I don't have it right infront of me, but those are the things that come to mind. I don't really know your knowledge that well, but I'm not sure if you have the experience and whatnot to start playing around with a routine. I'd follow some routines and whatever you enjoy doing, just stick with it. You could definitely bulk to 210, but don't expect your body fat % to be anywhere under 12%.

coke - yeah man, ill go for it next time.

K - crap, i better start watching how much i intake. its usually around 8c/day but that day i just had a fetish. i do realize that i hit my chest and tris at least once per workout now, but some things are small like isolations. do you still think i should cut some out? ive finished day three, and feel no pain. i feel sore, yes, but not 'bad pain', the kind we all try to stay away from. will i be able to feel tendon problems creeping up on me usually? i know they can often times just tear right there, but most of these exercizes arent with tons of weight either. i'm sure to eat enough, take my whey/creatine and get at least 7 hours of sleep a night, for proper recoup. also on those 3 days off, its pretty much no activity at all other than gym, haha. thanks for the props and the information, man. truly appreciate it. yeah, get me that vid :P

keef - my hamstrings havent changed since the routine started though. just fyi is all. they get hit so-so on deadlift day, full day of recovery bench day, (usually one day break in between day 2 and 3 if i lift on sundays), squat day they get hit w/ squat and GHR, and day four they get hit so-so depending on what i do. the order of days goes dead, bench, squat, other. i had it out of order up there, my fault. nothing has changed with them since i started the routine. so, what do you think i should do about my shoulders? after day three my delts feel fine, but if feeling fine doesnt eliminate the possibilty of overtraining them still, then let me know what you think i should do. i know i dont have the 100% knowledge to mess around w/ i own routine, thats why im talking it out with all you guys screw long term weight right now, i just need to get big. thanks for the input guy.

Awesome session Jed. Yeah whatever you do, do not hit those 20's fresh, leave them to near the end ha ha!

    Great job for sure!

ahh haha. well youll be smashin 315 OLY style soon enough. the C+J's felt good. 3 down from 5 was a great idea, because after third reps on that my form did get sloppy. my form isnt even all that great as it is, but its well enough. actually they kinda sucked because my bronchitis is still lingering in the depths of my lungs, so it gets to me when i need to breathe heavy still. ah well, hopefully by monday itll be all gone.

painzer, squat walkouts are just the beginning 'walk out' part of a squat. just unrack the bar and walk back to where youll be ready to ssquat, and go no more. its to get your body ready for bigger weights, i think. it felt good so i did it, and i wont be feeling 405 for a squat for a loooong time, so i figured id get as close as i coudl

Dude, DOMS isn't an indicator whether or not your muscles have recovered or not. You can train a muscle when it's sore, and you can train a muscle when it's not sore. Neither indicate if it's recovered and ready to be trained again. My recommendation is to do a routine that fits your needs best. It takes a long time and a lot of experience to learn whether or not your body has recovered. But yes, just get big for now, that's my plan!
