    Solid lifting lately pal. You're strong as out for your age.

    Good choice on the footie as well. I play centre half myself, train twice a week and play once but have still managed to bulk successfully. It's good fun and a laugh hanging out with the team, going out etc. It's worth it for the social side as much as keeping fit. Just make sure you have plenty of carbs before you play!

    Oh and it's far superior to 'egg ball'

    Nice squatting though, big guy! That's a hell of a lot more than I can do. I like how that was supposed to be a triple! LOL. Bump that weight up now. No point in waiting for another couple of weeks to do it. Good to hear the weight is coming up, too. I think we're all after the same thing right now. Weight and strength increase. Let's give'r!     LOL, if you can do 235x16, you're good for at LEAST 300. Play around with something a bit smaller that you're confident hitting. 285 sounds good to start with. Keep in mind, you don't want to go too heavy, it shouldn't be that difficult yet. But 235x16 tells me you'll be quite alright with using 285.

    yeah i didnt mean for a PR 1rm, but for using for the routine. since u said to keep it lower to start. ill change it to 285 next week and see how i can do. can i try for a huge new PR next week, like 110% instead of 102.5%

    I'm not going to tell you that you can't do it because you can if you want, but I think you should just stick to the program for now since you just started it. You don't even have to shoot for 102.5%. I just threw that out there for you if you wanted to do it every now and then. You're suppose to stop at 95% then just bump the weight up for all lifts the following cycle.
