Nice truck, dude. Is that the one that had the wheel fly off earlier this year? It looks well taken care of anyway. Get some workouts in here, biotch!

Danny boy, thanks bud! My trucks never been sweet till now! The wheels were 72 each and tires were 151 each. Keep in mind that's warehouse price not MSRP, since I work in the tire place I didn't need shipping, installation, etc.

K - thanks man! Appreciate it really really! Yes its the same truck lol! Funny its mentioned because that happened to a local - you guessed it - 97 dodge ram the SAME day I put my new ones one. Creepy!

workout tonight was alright. i am weak, and small, tired, disgruntled, small, and weak. oh well.

    incline press : 135x8, 145x6, 155x6

    GHR crunches : 4x10

    HB raises : 20 4x10

    chins : 2x10, x8

not even posting my BW. it is too embarrassing.

physically i dont really look much smaller. just leaner. but still.

Nice truck, duder. So you've got a truck AND a motorcycle... now all you need to do is get rid of that sissiness and you'll be somewhat of a man. How's training going? Still doing 5/3/1? Leaner is always better. Hot chicks will always tell you that, not some of the fatties on here that will do anything to add a pound to their total. Don't feel ashamed of that.

    thanks beast!

keith - thanks dude. yeah i know, right? the training is going terrible. i just cant find the energy to do it. i feel like i want to lift and run, but its very, very hard to make myself do it. i really dont know whats going on. i still have the tire in my yard, and i can use objects around my house to make sort of a strongman way of lifting. but nothing heavy like squats or bench... ive been looking for something to use for a pullup bar for a while and cant even find a f**king tree branch that would suffice. i dont know whats going on...

dan - i have a monkey wrench big enough to break your jaw to shut you up, which is enough for me.

Jed man, I know the feeling. Working a labor job and trying to find energy to lift at the end of the day is tough. Part of the reason why I quit my landscaping job, it was ****ing with my training, and I was going backwards. Do what you can, when you can, even if its mainly on weekends.

thanks coke!! yeah dan glad (to an extent) that you can relate. it friggin sucks dude. but i cant quit this job, my boss is great and it really is a good job and i get paid well enough. plus i really need a job regardless, to pay for my life haha. ill start being more mentally tough and get myself doing more sh**, even if its a bunch of ab stuff, running and flipping tires around the house.

Just gotta do it and the habit will form, bro. Take it one day at a time. Try for 3 sessions a week and go from there. It gets easier and you learn that even though you are tired from working, your body has the energy to make it through workouts just fine...usually Keep the food up and water up and all will follow.

Great advice by the guys Jed.

You WILL get used to it. Good to see the WO's sneaking back btw!

11 hours is ridiculous. What the hell are you doing and why work so many hours? Definitely don't attempt workouts after that much work, damn. Try on an 8-9 hr shift though. Just eat a good snack an hour or so before and tons of water all day and you'll be surprised at your energy levels.

**** dude, those days are the worst. I did a few 12 hour days. Definitely no training after those. I had an interview for a marketing promotions company today, and will probably be working 12 hour shifts aswell, but luckily it's not a labor job. Just think about all the money your gonna have.

yeah keph it was a long one. I worked about 3 inside and the rest outside. Although the inside was still 90 degrees, just with a fan going lol. We just needed to stay after and clean up a warehouse n move some tires for the carnival in town. Plus we do take 5-10 min breaks in the air conditioned office as much as possible. 8 or 9 is a normal day, ill probably run or do some home workout tonight.

Dan that sh** sucks eh? Glad to hear your hopefully getting a new job. That would be nice to work a desk(ish) job even though it doesn't feel like you do much. Yeah I am really making some nice money so that's nice.

good workout today. you guys will LOL. but doing this sh** feels quite nice.

i did this in my basement, with minimal lighting, cold cracked cement floors, beetles, bats, and other crawlies everywhere you look, and countless other tasty basement surprises. but its the only place in my house with the spare room for the punching bag, and a place for me to lay down and do pushups or something... anyways.

mega-set (supersetting, but adding another exercise. instead of 2 without rest, it's 3)

    pushups : 20

    sit ups : 20

dual milkjug lateral raises : 12

    2-3 min rest, repeat.

    5 sets.

for the milk jugs, i used two in each hand, full of water. i am gonna estimate it was about 15 lbs per hand.

laugh as you may, this beat the crap outta me. this was by no means easy after the second set. i know one thing; if i do this all summer long i'll probably have more abs, and more lateral delts than when i started. and obviously i will be implementing the punching bag for some cardio n stuff n just somethin to beat the sh** out of. gonna have to find something for chins and i'll at least be able to find a small, minute way of hitting close to everything in my dungeon.

also : just letting you all know, that my diet really is in decent shape. i wake up every morning and get some sort of breakfast in. it's usually between 3 scrambled eggs, 2 toast and 2c milk. or 2 donuts, 1 slice of breakfast pizza, n 2c milk. either or which equal around 600 cals. i always eat a good lunch every day, totaling close to 1000 or more cals. i've only gone a few nights without supper, but had replaced it with liquid happiness in those occasions. i get at LEAST 1k nightly. which comes out to be around 3000 cals including snacks, etc. now, i know that isnt enough to bulk, but it should be CLOSE to enough to maintain my muscle mass.

Nice! It's like the convict-training program right there. Just need some pullups on a door frame is all. Good job getting it in though, man. You should throw in about 100 air-squats as well. You'd be surprised how tired your legs get after 50 reps of squatting with no weight. You'll be fine on the diet.

convict training sounds fine to me, some of those mofos are stacked. would doing air squats actually do anything for mass or would it just get my legs in shape? i wouldve tire flipped pry but it was too wet out, got a monsoon here earlier.

Most people would argue that it would do nothing for mass. I did tons of those little ****ers when I was doing Crossfit and I actually did see gains in the size of my legs, so go figure. Same principle as doing jump ropes or any sport really. There will be gains in the beginning but they will drop off quickly and that will be that. You'll get solid-looking legs with great endurance for air squatting. It most likely won't transfer to squatting heavy weight though. Better than nothing. Just keep the speed up and really try to exhaust your legs and see what happens.

okay, sounds good. i was just a little skeptical because (im not bragging) my legs are pretty big as they are and wasnt sure if it would do anything to help build to them. keep in mind ill be running, tire flipping and doing free weights stuff when possible too.
