F you Keith... rofl. True though. Paul, sad thing is you will probably do that, in a day or two, and smash me.

AK - Thanks, bro. It felt pretty insane, lol! Interested in seeing your results!

Flyn****n - Thanks man, glad youre joining. And don't worry, like Keith said, not missing much. If you've seen a picture of me before from anytime, it's the same.

    Good workout today gents.

    ME Squat

    265x1
    280x1
    295x1 +10 lb
    275x1
225x5 - form focus, pretty tough

    Walking DB Lunge (reps each)

    40x8... ow

    BB Calves
    225x25
    225x25
    225x25

    DB Bulgarian Split Squats
    15's x10
    15's x10

Cardio : 60+ minutes of pool extreme basketball. Oh em gee, this was pretty tiring.

Pretty nice workout. Pleased with the 10 lb increase on squats. I was disappointed though cause I had a guy stand behind me incase I decided to not want to complete the lift, and I bumped in to his knee right when I got to the hole which kind of f***ed me up. It came up a little dirty, but I know without the spotter it would have been a clean, solid rep. Lunges were freaking terrible. I almost had a heart attack when I did the set of 8 each... 55 was way too much the first time, too. Bulgarian Splits were pretty fun, I enjoy 'em.

Good session there bro. Awesome work with that squat! Don't waste your time with a spotter behind you. Honestly, he ain't gonna do **** if you fail. He'll just jump out of the way in all likely hood. Unless he can curl 295 lbs and has lightning reflexes...he's gonna get hurt worse than you in the event of a massive failure. Use catch pins or at least two spotters if you want fail-safes. I am with ya on lunges...they suck so good.

Thanks for the words, K. Yeah I usually don't want spotters, but for this one I knew I wasn't going to totally biff and drop it, I would just go down slow so he probably would've been able to help. Had the catch pins too just in case Did you see the new comp? Go up a few posts.

Lol, yes I did actually. I must have deleted half my post by accident before replying. I can't believe you benched 195 for 18 reps. That's messed up dude. I will see what I can get 160 for. I think I'm good for at least 15 reps. Doubt I can top 18 though.

Damn, awesome squatting, bud. Doing 1 or 2 back off sets to perfect form and technique is always a great idea. Those are some heavy ass lunges. I can see why you dropped the weight. If you have safety bars, then why bother having a spotter?? I couldn't focus with a dude right behind me during a squat, that would piss me off. Bump the weight up on bulgarian split squats then come back to me and tell me if you enjoy them. You can squat more than me so try 30's.

I was thinking you guys would kill this competition, especially you, Invain. Try it after you work up to something heavy. I'm interested in seeing what you can do.

Coke - Thanks man, it was pretty good!

Vain - Haha that's good to have, thanks. And I'm with Keith... I hope you do this. Since it's mindless weight for you, just don't think about it, tempo your reps so you can count easily, and pound em out. I'm sure you could get over 15.

Keith - Thanks, man! I was planning on doing at least 3 singles of 275 afterwords, but the first one after the max attempt came up pretty rough so I didn't go for any more. I can focus with a dude behind me (no homo) cause I usually just stare directly back into my eyes in the mirror, but after that I probably won't use a spotter from now on. It really is pointless. Just being in a gym like that though I hate to dump the bar and make everyone freak out and sh** cause most have never seen more than 135 pounds on a squat rack. I'll try to do the splits with 30's, but the 15's were pretty tough...

Bri - Hey man, thanks a lot. Yeah almost 3 plates, that'll be wicked! Be sure to do that bench comp some time!

Overall a damn nice workout... The CG's felt solid, although i'm concerned that I may very well sh** my wrist tendons and ligaments out next time I crap, cause I can't tell if their still attached or not. Chins were tough at medium grip but managed a 5x10. My back might be lagging from all of this weight gain in such a short time, but either way. Oblique work was incredible, will start doing that atleast once weekly.

Solid CG Jed. Did you wreck your tendons with them or something else?

A lot of work done there, great job bro! You're young and I bet your wrists and elbows heal up quick and just fine. Although if they start to bother you a lot, you may start cutting back some of the volume on the assistant days. That's what I'm having to do to get around stupid tendinitis. I've been doing my side bends on the GHR like a roman chair situp. Man those things suck. Chins look solid, don't know what you are talking about how you couldn't do the chins in that circuit I did the other night. You would do just fine. Give it a shot. If you don't have a kettlebell, just use a 35 lb DB.

Flynn, Paul - Thanks, brothers. Yeah Flynn my wrists were wrecked from football season and when I put heavy stress on em they bring back old pains. I'll live though.

Keph - Hey manly, thanks a lot for the words. Yeah they'll get back to normal soon. I don't think they'll ever be healed, though. I really f***ked one up in football and it hasn't healed right since. How do you use the weight for the GHR side bends? If you were holding a DB, seems like it'd hit the ground? Let me know. Well in a circuit it seems like it would just be so fast, but I will give it a try anyhow. I can probably do at least a 3x10 in quick time. Thanks duder.

Really nice CG benching, bud. Wrists hurt during these? Do you use wrist wraps? Anyone come close to your 18 reps yet?

Thanks, dude-man. Yeah they hurt, and I use Inzer wraps. Without em I wouldn't do them or probably even heavy benching. No ones come back and reported except for you, so youre the closest. What's your BW, 165?
