    This shit is insane. 48 reps of squats, are you fucking serious? Thats after 16 snatch reps (which is supposedly not very many). Then them RDL's really tore me a new A HOLE. Mili's were beast though, surprised I still can rep 115x10 after 4 sets of 8 (95, 105) prior to.

    For snatch focus:
    - keep bar close to body
    - keep lats/back tight on pull
    - don't cut pull short
    - keep head/back upright on landing

    I'm starting to not like snatch much anymore. It's still a badass lift though.

    Are you doing all this stuff with only short breaks for a net-con or just working through sets like normal?

    I've never liked snatch too much. Rips apart my wrists especially. However with these dudes coaching me I bet I will start enjoying it more. I hit about 1 good rep out of 16 yesterday, and that one good rep felt great. It was one of those "I can imagine throwing 225 lb over my head if I can nail this form" moments, lol.

    I dunno what you mean by net-con but I do take enough break to make sure I'm at good strength for the next set. Although I keep em as short as possible. Snatch complex and snatch really blast my heart rate though even with some rest.

    Good workout. Them squats are gonna make me hurt. Snatch is coming along nicely. I feel like I will be able to hit 135 lbs soon which would be pretty sweet. It's such an insanly complex movement.

    Yeah, surprised at how strong my squat is right now. 28+ reps of 225 in a workout is pretty impressive for me at my strongest, let alone right now.

    Had bronchitis the past 2 weeks so took a break from everything... Would like to get back into the iron after this week and hit it pretty hard over Xmas break...

    Today did TKD and ran.

    1 Mile @ 7:42 (tready)

    40 Situps in 60 sec

    30 pushups in 30 sec

    The same issue that has been plaguing my left elbow for 7 years has now started in my right elbow as well. If it doesn't stop I might just go ahead and stop all movements involving triceps for good. We'll see where it leads.

    Get serious piercing pain in my left elbow when I reach the area around hyperextension. Also nasty pains when I simply put weight on it sometimes or move it in extension. Now its starting to happen to my right side as well. Surgery this summer to remove loose bodies did nothing.

    Yeah. Chunks of bone and cartilage floating around in the joint that causes pain and grinds away at my existing joints. The surgery didn't help the pain at all but at least the bodies were removed, helping keep future deterioration issues at bay.
