    haha we had a late start is all thank god!

    nice benching today i think, didnt go too extreme though.

    bench : 140x5, 185x8, 195x8, 205x8

    single arm DB shoulder press : 50 3x6

    glute ham : 3x8

    again some worthless plyos after. what in the hell ever happened to normal straightforward sprints...

    weighed 182 today somehow, guess i lost 1.5 lb after eating ~3250+ 4 days in a row haha.

    Thats wierd that you would lose weight. Maybe you just didnt drink enough water or weighed yourself at a different time? I dunno. Is there any reason for doing single arms DB shoulder presses over both at the same time?

    pulse - i definately don't drink enough water, but i do have an alright amount of fluid in me (milk mostly then water) weighed myself at same time. and no reason for the one hand at a time on the DB presses, its what the sheet said and i didnt think it made a diff. does it?

    lion - thanks guy. haha definately don't eat fast food more than 3 times a month, usaully only once but sometimes there's more events in a month which leads to more trips.

    decent workout today. didnt squat very heavy but legs could definately feel it.

    hang clean : 135x5, 170x3, 155x5 gad such a weird feeling i dunno why im so poor at these.

    pullups : 3x10

    squat : 135x5, 205x8, 205x8, 210x8

    core after. useless. might start wrestling once a week or something with brandon after school to get some conditioning in.

    weighed 183.5 today and only at 1800 cals last night. (had some personal problems last night) God musta granted me a favor!

    thanks lionman. well it was 190, then it was going good so i mvoed it to 200, but now i want it as 'as big and strong as i can get, without compromising speed' so i figure in the 190-195 range by football. if i get bigger and slow down, the weights coming off unless its pure muscle.

    First of all you want to be 200 by football season. What position do you play? Cause Im thinking by your lifts and weight you could pretty much dominate anyone you wanted. Also good workout. But hey even I coulda done those squats! I know your stronger than me cmonnnn

    kiaran - thanks bro. its mostly all good now.

    pulse - well i would like to be 200 if i dont lose speed, but when i lose my speed i dont want to gain much more. i play offensive guard and defensive end, so 200 really isnt that huge unless its 200 lbs of muscle i did pretty good at guard this year @ 170 so if im even 190 it should be great! heh i know those squats were pretty low, but my legs were real fatigued for some reason. theyll get heavier as the reps get lower...

    dood, don't worry bout the weight. just keep gaining and make sure to keep doing speed work, sprints and stuff. What are your sprint numbers? I'd like to see that in here.

    micky - thanks bro, weighed 183.5 today so making atleast some progress. i would love to give you my sprint numbers, when it gets warm out you'll have em.

    workout was good today, did cleans.

    power clean : 135x3, 135x3, 175x1, 185x3, 195x3, 205x3 seems like my pull is lacking (slow) and grip slips sometimes but worked out the landing and very few hand/wrist problems today.

    full C&J : 135x5, 145x4, 155x3 WOW tiring! this lift is so damned fun. i loved the 'all eyes on me' feeling. they think im an idiot, the idiots.

    played some pickleball afterwards for some *very* wimpy cardio but thats the funnest game ever.

    183.5 today. ALMOST 184.

    Damnit dude full clean and jerks and power cleans. Nice! Makes me really want to start working on those in the gym because no one else does them and they actually look awesome. I dont know how I could work them into my split. Admit it, are they fun?

    there was no exaggeration in that statement. the most enjoyable lift i have ever done, including bench. do them and enjoy them

    work them in on your leg day maybe. its not a heavy lift (unless ur way good) so you could do them after squats if you wanted. its just like doing squats to front squats but with shoulders added.

    thanks kiaran. i dont think ill ever do snatches though! scary stuff there... pickleball is 4 players 2v2 on a small tennis-like court with honeycomb or wooden paddles and whiffle balls. it is the most phenominal game ever invented. pretty much 2v2 tennis on a way smaller court.
