decent workout tday, was happy with BW

    hang clean : 135x5, 155x4, 175x3, 185x1 cool for +10 lb PR i guess. not a big deal.

squat : 135x5, 225x5, 275x3, 275x3, 280x4 phew. form was somewhat sloppy but not really. hit depth every rep tho.

wtf... did something else but cant remember.

    incline : 135x6, 155 2x6

team workout : calf raises... alright i guess.

    did some core

188.5 today got out of that 185 rut last night it seems!

I was just going to say. If you can push out 280x4, you have 315 in you for sure. Try it next week, bro!

haha thanks pulse, coke and keith! well the 280x4 was good depth, pretty good back, but my knees went in kind of. they usually go in kinda but i push them back out so i need to work on keeping them out the whole time! well the max calculator says 280x4 is 305... so i guess we'll see.

not a bad workout today, hit that bench PR for all of you!

bench : 135x6, 135x6, 225x5, 245x5 (finally, right?), 250x5 (woot), 285x1 yeeehaw! it was very tough, but i got it up. bar drifted over head and slowed down in the middle, but spotter did not touch it and i got it up!

    SUPERSET AP's with dips!

    arnold presses : 50lb 3x8

    dips : x10, x9, x7.5

BB rows : 135 2x8, ran out of time

    team workout : wall sits

did some plyos after, felt pretty fast. also a new jumping PR, did the short stepping and got about 4 inches over the rim!! i actually grabbed it instead of just touched with fingers!! only a one time deal though, haha, every other one was just a normal one.

186 today. WHAT THE F?? ***** my weight...

Great job one the 285 PR bro. Where pretty much at the same spot. Except I'm 15 pounds heavier and 2 years older . You do plyos for bball? And bro you can't expect to gain a pound every two days lol.

pretty good workout with squats today, they felt strong.

    clean : 135x5, 185x3, 205x3, 215x3... tried 240 and sucked. my clean is stuck.

BB shrugs : 185x10, 205x10, 225x9 haha grip failed on my 10th try!

squat : 135x5, 225x3, 245x5, 255x5, 265x5... last set was prob a PR but not sure. felt strong last set and form was solid.

    incline : 135x5, 185x3, 185x5, 185x4

    DB front raises : 15x10, 20 2x10

team workout was no-weight bench... useless

core was some medicine ball work.

    188 today.

dblock - thanks dude. yeah man clean is way hard to get up! i think ill drop in tomorrow and do some full cleans and jerks.

detard - thanks bro. team workout is a (usually) worthless workout we do at the end of the "30 min time limit" thing. usually like curls, 45lb bench, crunches, etc. sometimes they are worthwhile, but that's a rarity.

keith - thanks so much man. i will keep it up! 4600+ cals and 250 g protein today, which is like 1000 over maintenance so i hope i can get to 190 by monday! ill eat like a mofo this weekend and get over 4000 each day to hit an all time BW PR of 190 course ill lose it after i start up again that week but itll just be fat.

That's interesting that the extensions hurt your elbows too. I only know a few people who's elbows don't hurt on those things. Makes me wonder if that exercise is even worth a **** to bother with. Crazy weight on the hang cleans. That's practically BW on those! The squats looked pretty sick too. Really outstanding job lately, dude. 285 on that bench is officially crushed then? Damn, now it's only 30 pounds to 3pps. Awesome stuff, Jed. Take care of your CNS, bro.

Why so high over your maintenance? I would recommend doing it all slow and gradual, bro. Otherwise, you'll being putting on mainly fat.

pulse - thanks bro. yeah it was a lucky shot really. tried today and barely brushed it, but it was just a random jump in the middle of the day.

kiaran - yeah man extensions kinda hurt with my tendonitis, but their one of a few heavy tricep exercises i can do. im tryin on the hang cleans, i spose. yep the squats are gradually gettin up there i wouldn't say 285 is 'crushed', but yes i did get it up legit could of lifted extra today and wanted to, but rested my CNS like you just said

coke - thanks a ton. your continued support is appreciated.

keith - oh trust me man, i am definately taking your advice and listening to you. it's just this one time i want to finally get over 190 for the first time in my life. then i'll most likely sweat 2lb off during the day and workout cuz im a profuse sweater and i hate it. but i'll have gotten 190 is that alright? i mean, it aint gonna do anything bad in the long run is it? just going over maintenance for 3 days.

mick - thank you man. i've been tryin. good news is i've put on 18 lb since football and i know for a fact not ALL of it was fat. specially cuz my bench has gone from 245-285 or close to it! im not trying to put it on terribly fast, im trying to do what keith is saying and put it on slow and steady, but get atleast to 190-195 without speed loss by football.
