    bako, idk if ill b able to beat that. not for a while atleast.

    ****ty ass workout today. tried to clean and it sure as hell didnt cooperate.

    clean : 135x5, 185x3, 205x5, 215x2 wtf lol sucked it up

    incline : 135x5, 155x5, 185x4

    mighta done smoethin else btu this workout was crap i felt terrible. o well still jacked about yesterdays benching.

    Peaks and valleys man. Like Keith said, a good workout balances out with a bad sometimes. And like you told me, you just gotta keep at it. And while I'm the last person to comment on cleans with any authority, 215 for two seems pretty good to me. The explosiveness you develop from them should be a big help for you on the football field.

    thanks you two. ill def keep at it. this summers been twice as good as last summer. 10 more lbs since last summer, and im still pretty lean. i was prob like 173 this time last summer and right now im about 182, keeping close to normal strength.

    Holy ****!! Did I just see 2 workouts posted in here without 6 pages of gossip whoring in between? Way to go man!
    In all seriousness though don't worry about having a bad workout, it happens to all of us. At least you didn't super **** up a power clean and end up falling over backwards with the weight coming down on top of you like I saw in some of the vids kiaran and I watched the other day.

    K - heh thanks dudely. doubt i could hit a new heavy pr, i just dont feel it when i get the weight up there. but maybe ill try soon. bike is good, gettin some mods (and got some mods) on it with the wheel tape, flush mounts, sv-650 shock (for raised rear end), and more to come over the year im sure. steph is kickass. i guess i forgot to mention that we were 'official' as of july 2. pardon me. thanks keith for (i think) pointing out that (i think) i didnt mention it.

    ok workout today. squat sucked ass, weak as hell so i went to front squat.

    squat : 135 warmup, 225x3... wow terrible

    front squat : 185x5, 195x5, 205x5... these were all solid, lower back hurt right after but went away within 3 mins.

    lower back extensions : 2x10

    handstand pushups : 3x10... felt nice.

    DETASSLING STARTS TOMORROW - I WILL BE LIFTING AT NIGHT FROM NOW ON, AND MOST LIKELY I WILL LOSE STRENGTH AND NOT HAVE AS MUCH TIME TO REPLY IN ALL YOUR JOURNALS AS MUCH AS I USUALLY DO FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS - SORRY

    those front squats are pretty damn draining..good to see you went that route instead of just walking out after the front squats made you their bitch

    eh. okay bench today. nice shoulder stuff other wise.

    bench : 135 warmup, 225x3, 255 3x3... not bad i guess, they were real tough though. i hate benching heavy for low reps.

    BB mili press : 135 3x3 solid

    lying reverse DB lateral raise things : 20's 2x10... my right arm and delts gets so vascular on these its crazy

    front DB lateral raises : 20 2x10

    team workout bench dips 3 sets fatigue

    plyos.. pretty crappy.

    have to admit, this might be the best i've ever looked so far. my vascularity during my lifts was insane tonight. was pretty drained from detassling but tried to get thru it.

    gay banter haha wtf. havent explained it this year but i explained it last year like 1000 posts ago. you walk through corn fields and pull "tassles", hence : de"tassle"ing. theres 1 row of male corn, 4 rows of female, 1 male, 4 female etc. the female corn MUST be detassled in order for it to pollinate and grow corn or something. so yeah we walk thru fields all day pulling tassles in 90 degree heat getting corn rash. its fun...
