25% doesn't sound too far off. by the looks of what you are getting paid, no dependents, living with your parents that sounds about right... maybe more like 20?

indiff - haha thanks bro. good pay is right, $11 an hour.

pulse - no it was 24.88% or something. we calculated it. last year out of $1100 they took $60. this year out of $650 they took $160 or something around there. but we got it fixed. my store job takes like 8%. this detasseling jobs previous check took iowa and federal withhold out, which i have never had taken out befoer. its fixed tho, so all they take is medicare and something else which ends up being like 8% total just like the other job, which is very fair.

Glad you had a nice "light" bench day there, Jed. 5x3 would definitely be boring...especially with 5 lb jumps. Just wanted to see if you could do it or what? That's ****ing nasty about the rash...don't ever share that again you *******. And I don't even want to know how it got there from detassling corn...wtf?

Sucks about taxes. Doesn't matter though, you'll most likely get all your taxes back at the end of the year cause you'll be exempt. Wait until you get your first real job and see how much they take...it's ****ing depressing and makes you angry. Then you just sort of get used to it. Probably very analogous to gettin raped in the showers at prison, laf.

well k, 3x3 never feels like enough volume for me so i tried a diff set-rep scheme. the last 245x3 was about all i had left in teh tank, lol.

well, K... have you ever ran or walked 30+ miles in a week? your skin rubs against other skin and causes rash... im sure youve experienced it before -_-

You callin me out, hag? Skinny legs...ok we're gonna have a contest to see who can hit 4pps on Squats first. Winner has to wear "I have weak, skinny legs and I'm a poon" in their sig for a month. You've even got a 10 lb head start. You game? Oh, what? what?

camp started yesterday!!! it was hell, but our team is looking very solid for how early it is in the season! it was 4 hours. it goes 30 min stretch, 10 min non-stop agilities, 60 offense, 60 defense, 30 lifting. so something around there!! feet are wrecked from blisters, lol, but so is everyones. had a small lift after camp but dont expect too much out of me these days.

    BB mili : 135 3x3

Good work past two days Jed. I remembered being absolutely demolished after two-a-days and practices and not wanting to lift at all.

And I treat blisters by amputating the affected limb. Hope its not anywhere on your core.

Best thing for blisters is tape. Lots and lots of tape. I get them on my hands and feet in tennis. Just take some Johnson&Johnson (the good stuff) athletic tape (the thick fabric kind) and wrap two or three times around the area until it's protected. Also wear two pairs of socks helps absorb more sweat and keeps things from sliding around as much. Hope that helps, bro.

Workouts lookin brutal...4 hours...yeesh. I remember those days.

team is looking solid as ever. nasty blisters on foot. maxed today, but im still using old PR's because football has worn me down.

    bench : 135x10, 225x3, 245x1, 265x1, 285x1, stopped

    clean : 225x1, 135x5, 230x1, 235x1, 240x0

    push press : 135x3, 155x1, 185x1, 195x1, 205x0

asthma kicked in during conditioning, worst attack ive had in a while. i recoupped and stayed after and did a few 15 yard sprints to make up for what i missed. thank god for supportive team mates!

Damn, asthma can get scary sometimes, eh? Great benching even if football has taken a toll on you. What happened to the push press?
