    Thanks alot both of you

dblock, you just lay on the ground and take hold of a bar like 2.5 feet above you, grab it, and row yourself up as high as you can go. When your the highest your probably about at like a 40 degree angle or so... cant find a vid, they may be called something else.

Was gona go to Gages for some strongman today but it's been raining for two days straight here... flipping tires and dragging sleds in rain doens't seem like fun to me!

flipping tires and dragging sleds in the rain would be pretty hardcore and make you look like a tough sob. then again I probably wouldn't do it either lol.

really? I thought TCM was lame, the only scary part for me is when the sheriff appeared right at the window of the van, but I think that was cause it was dead silent and Rachael snapped her head at me at the same exact time so it was like an overload for poor ol' jeds brain. (shes seen it before she was trying to scare me lol)

Sorta depends on what scares you I guess. I'm pretty much cool with anything, but the gory stuff is just nasty, haha.

Oh yeah I love gore, it's entertaining not scary to me. I think I like more 'creepy' movies like Alien, or movies that get in to your head (even tho I haven't seen many like that).

Updated with vids. I think I'm gonna go strongman tomorrow, since Gage isn't lifting I won't be tempted to lift with him. If it doesn't rain, that is...

nice upper work my man. haha if I got you thinkin about it last time maybe you need to get out there and do that strongman work even if it does rain tomorrow. And if you could manage to get vids off that that would look amazing.

Thanks dblock I will do it tomorrow (or today, rather), but if it's raining I can't take vids because it'll get rain on the cam and that cam is already about toast :P But it shouldn't rain, so I'll be sure to get a vid of a set of 8. It's only got 3 mins so a set or two should be about its maximum :P

Woot, only did 2 things today but WOW was I wiped... it was about 96 degrees and very humid outside, did some serious tire flippin' with vids.

    Tire Flips : 3x8, vid of 1x8

    Pullups : 3x10

WOW was I wiped after those tire flips or what, I sweat like a mad man!! I could barely walk after the flips either, heart was beating FAST and my legs were TOAST!! Felt amazing, I love these!

    A few cool pics, :

What do y'all think about my flipping form? Is there a specific form you need for strongman comps, or just wahtever form you can manage to get the most reps from?

great flipping man and nice pictures. only thing I can say is that when lifting the tire at the beginning you wanna keep that back straighter. besides that, nice. and WTF does all of Iowa look like that?

TY dblock. It's kinda hard to keep back straight because sometimes you gotta dig ur arms under to get hold and u have to bend ur back to get low enough, but I'll concentrate harder next time.

And yep, that's a prime example of beautiful Iowa

Most likely going to do Squats tomorrow at gages, then end with some tire flips again. Can't wait I'm not even aching from the last 3x8 of tire flip on Tuesday!!
