    Wow, and I thought it was bad here in NYC on saturday (thankfully not one of my lifting days), but still sucks that you got a blizzard and couldnt work out.

    Sucks for me more cause Im leaving for Buffalo on Saturday!

    yeah man well it wasnt terrible but its part of the school and school got out.

    anyways, okay workout today. went for a PR on squats and got around what i was expecting. my squat has never been strong.

    standing mili press : 115x5, 125x5, 130x5, 135 2x5

    squat : 135 warmup, 185x3, 205x1, 225x1, 245x1, 265x1, 275x1... i guess this is my PR for now. ive got 325 full, but that aint where i am now. ill get back up there.

    chins : 4x10

    kinda a mixed workout today... looks bad, and wasnt really the greatest. but whatever.

    275 is damn good for squats or any movement for that matter - keeping hanging in there, doing great.

    Damn you and your strong millies. I've just started incorporating them back in my program consistently, so hopefully they'll take off. I'm only good for about 140x8 as of now, where as my max bench is 315. Go figure!

    BTW, we got hit by the snow, too. Could barely get to work today. It blows.

    finally did some CLEANS yesterday!! felt awesome. worked up to a 1rm. WILL GET VIDS UP EVENTUALLY - BEEN BUSY

    power clean : 135 warmup (around 10), 155x5, 175x4, 185x3, 195x2, 205x1, 215x1... 215 is 1rm for now. got it fine but started to feel form fall apart so i stopped there.

    GHR : 3x10

    have vids of 135, 155, 185, 215, and a GHR so ill get them up eventaully. just for form purposes

    Solid cleans jed. Alot of the time pain in the knee is actually caused by muscles in the leg. If you can poke directly above or below the kneecap right b/t it and the quad especially and it hurts, its a good sign of it being a muscle in the leg. Alot of the longer muscles attach right about there and pain manifests itself there. I also know this b/c mine act up alot if I dont ice the sides of my legs. If icing the direct area doesnt seem to help at all, try icing along the sides of your hip/quad area, you might be surprised.

    K - thanks duder well i'd say maybe 2 weeks ago? wasn't hit or anything, thinking maybe from a squat session.

    indiff - well, i can tell it's not muscular pain from what i can feel. my quads are fine. it feels like tendon pain and only hurts where the tendon is, and only when i extend with force applied against it. icing never helps me

    Good vids, bro. I definitely admire your ability to clean. That **** has always just been way to nasty on my knees and shoulders. I wouldn't worry about how your power clean form is, I'd say you own that thing, bro. If you ask the question on WBB, sure you'll get about 50 responses telling you every little detail you did wrong, but the point remains: did you clean the weight up to your shoulders? YES. Did you complete the Squat or Deadlift? YES. Catch my drift? ****ing strong, boy. Keep it up.

    Well said. You do own that exercise. I wouldn't dare to try anything over 200 lbs. If you really want, create a thread with your heaviest clean. I'm sure Fuzzy or whoever will jump on every detail.

    thanks keith. i think i might, but really i was just making sure there was nothing obscenely wrong. cleans never hurt my lower back or anything so im doing them well enough.

    bah.... fine. good idea actually, you bastard. what about deads though?? ive pulled 390 SUMO but 355 is my best conventional.
