    Good session tonight... Went in straight after work for a change, before supper. Wasn't too packed and was able to get in and use all the equip I needed. Chins lacked a bit on ROM compared to usual. Declines were kinda weak compared to last time (65x10, 75x7) but I did slow the reps down just a bit. Squat was another huge jump in such a short time. This was by far the hardest set I've done as of late. Will only increase by 5 lbs next time for sure. Spinning was good for a change and got a mean sweat going to end the day.

    Good session here. Chins and flyes felt okay. Squats felt great. Was planning on 5+ for final set of 225 and was happy to hit 12. I think I may have 15-16 in the tank if I went straight to it without the working sets.

    Every time I get back into lifting I usually squat like this. The original idea was from the programme called "Super Squats" which involves squat workouts focused on 1 set of 20 reps. Increase 5-10 lbs every workout. I have always had success with it and am on the fast track to getting my squat back up, rep-wise at least.

    Pretty solid workout. Legs are still complete toast from double squats last week. Will probably only squat once this week. Pushups were brutal on my elbow both during and post workout. Right elbow is even getting irritated. Need to focus on these if I want to get thru all the pushups in the academy.

    Lawl, it almost did. It was the worst I felt after squatting in a while. Had to go down to the floor.

    Killx - Heh. They basically are, I guess. They are my punishment for getting out of shape. I do them every time I start up again.

    This was a pretty awesome workout. Hoping to be headed to the academy soon so threw a more BW oriented workout in there. Felt great and I was glad to be able to hit 50 chins, it's been a while since I've done that. 150 pushups was also pretty great. I was struggling the other day with about 85, but those were sets to failure.

    Definitely man. The place I was at was usually always pretty full. It had 4 power racks and tons of DB's but the racks were almost always full unless you came in at weird hours and rushed yourself before closing time. This place is 24/7 and theres not many people in there after the big 5-7 after work time.

    This was kinda brutal but I didn't mind it. Going to focus on more of these types of workouts. Run was supposed to be 2 miles but I messed the route up. Still was at a pretty good pace of 9:00 (good for me at least).

    This was great. Short and sweet. Will try to pay attention to overtraining however, doing a chest/tri movement every day of the week may not be good, even if 3 of them are BW.

    Today sucked for running... Cold, windy and downright just sucked azz being out there. The first sprint was okay, but the second was into the wind and I was already gassed. By the halfway mark of the second I was jogging and about ready to stop. Definitely gonna need to work on these.

    This was a pretty good one. Squats felt good. I reversed myself and am closer to the mirror. Don't think it had much to do with it but some small mental things can make a difference sometimes. Chins felt good as well, the downward pyramid was a good switch and I seemed able to pound out more total reps. Jump rope was a huge fail. Kept hitting the top of my head or the tips of my toes so I just stopped. Rowing was awesome!

    as they always said at crossfit....JUMP HIGHER SPIN FASTER

    a few years ago (one day shy of exactly 3 years ago i guess) i hit myself in the face with a wire rope doing backwards double unders one day. man it HURT. i've got a pic somewhere. oh i know exactly where it is....here ya go. notice the red welp going up my nose and forehead and my lower lip is swollen. they posted it on the gym's page. LOL
