    question...

    Was wondering this the other day...

    I know if you eat above maintenence while lifting you'll likely gain muscle and likely some fat, (IE bulk), if you eat below maintenence you'll lose some of both (IE cut).

    what happens when one lifts while eating at maintenence level?

    10/06:150lbs---8.5% bod fat--------------------3/25/07: 170 lbs

    8/25/07: 163lbs---------goal @ 185 by (5/1/08)

    Lifts/Goals:
    -deadlift 370x6 (current 315)
    -flat bb bench 205x5 (current 185)
    -squat 265x6 (current rehab in knees, light legs)
    -lat p/u BW+50 x 6 (current 35x6)

    thanks for the responses. was just wondering it. i'm too skinny to eat maintenence right now.

    Yea...but i did however gain around 18lbs in over a few months....doing so with advice from these forums. Dont take it hard kiddo, im just giving you some motivation.

    I did the same thing!
    I went from 145 to 165 in a month and a bit. I was grossly underweight and my body really needed the food. After that it took a bit longer to bulk to get to 185 now.

    haha, not at all! ive kind of hit a plateau right now, but im starting up bulk #2 as we speak and outlook is good for another 10lbs. you can do it too, believe me, i havent gained this much weight in 3 years let alone 3 mos.
