    A bit fat

    I've put on a bit over the festive season, looking at my holiday snap (see attachment), I've got fat hanging over my hip and you can't see the somach muscles. The scales show I've put on 4kg/8.8lbs since the date in my signature and at least half of that must be fat.

    Currently I'm only 0.5kg lower than that 82.5 power lifters weight category and assuming there is enough improvement in my bad shoulder, then I'll need to cut some of that fat, so I can put on some additional muscle to compete later this year.

    Now looking at my photo, I'm estimating that my Body Fat (BF) is around 15% and could be cut to 10%, a 4kg/9lbs saving.

    At what BF level, does the lack of BF negatively impact your strength?

    I've cut 2.75kg/6lbs What an improvement, the luv handles are reduced and my abs are beginning to show.
