The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Back training with minimal bicep/elbow stress?

I recently hurt something in my left elbow/bicep. It started hurting from heavy lat pull downs (for me that's 250-260lb), the ones with your palms facing away. It hurts to flex my left bicep now. I can do light pulldowns now with my palms facing in, but are there other back exercises that will still bulk without adding too much stress on this injury? Or should I just be patient and let it heal? (and yes, I do other exercises too, like deads, one arm rows, close grip pulls etc.)

Chin ups, palms facing in, if that doesn't hurt. Deads of course (I know you do them), and it's variations, will add bulk to your entire back. Good mornings as well. Pulling work however, almost by definition, will involve elbow flexion. You probably knew all that anyway though.
