The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Just started working at Costco

I was wondering if during a cut the typical workload pushing carts and lifting 40+ lbs repeatedly would be enough to maintain most lean muscle groups...or do I need to lift heavy also (i find it difficult to have the motivation after a long day to make it to the gym)

    Please let me know!
    Current 217lbs 6'1" 27 25% body fat

    Goal 200lbs 6'1" 27(whew made it) 12% body fat

I move 1/4's of cows around that can weigh upto 200lbs for 6-10 reps at a time, and I'm still skinny. Lift heavy.

I agree that you are going to have to lift heavy...I do warehouse work all day throwing boxes of frozen meat ALL day, and it isnt enough...If you cant get the motivation to go after work (which I never could either), get up earlier and go before hand. I have discovered I would rather feel tired and just do enough to get by at work, but feel good and give all I can during my workout! Dont know how much my boss likes that, but its all about priorities

thanks guys...guess Ill hit the gym before work. Talk about caloric deficit...its also so tricky to estimate daily expenditures...since when its busy I have to work so much harder.
