The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    advice on cutting

    hi there,
i have bulked to 181 lbs and want to continue bulking for 3 more weeks to 185 lbs. The thing is that my abs are not very visible at the moment and i want them to be by the summer (at the moment my bodyfat is about 15%), so i want to go on a 6 week cut and try and get to about 181 again hopefully maintaing the muscle and losing some fat. The problem is that i won't really want to lose much weight, i will just want to tone up. as i don't want to lose much weight if i calculate it right i will be losing only 0.8 lbs per week. How can i make sure i don't lose too much weight when cutting? and how should i adjust diet and cardio? (don't do any cardio now)

    thanks very much

the size im at now isn't too bad, i mean i obviously want to get bigger in the future but im not really skinny anymore. As i will stilll be bulking for three more weeks then cuting down the the weight i am now but i will be ripped, im sure that will be ok, i need abs in the summer! i would maintain my weight if i could but to lose fat you need to reduce your weight so thats what i gotta do i guess. thanks built.

ok i've read some stuff and i will definately incorporate some HIIT into my workout between once and twice a week as i'm not wantig to lose to much weight, would would you recommend? also, if i'm eating at a 440 caloric deficit each day, on the HIIT days, how many calories of this amount should i reduce from my diet and how much should i burn off in the HIIT?
