The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

concert, none of my friends want to go...

i want to go the Loreena McKennitt concert, but none of my friends want to go. My gf, I am sure will go but the cheapest ticket is like 140$. Have anyone ever rolled up to a concert alone? Also my best friend says concerts are over rated and how i will not like it. He says by the time they are on CD so much polishing is done that i am better off saving the money. Any inputs?

    thanks!

Well, I wouldn't pay 140 for McKennit, even though I am a fan...

That aside, no. No way. I hate eating out alone and I refuse to even see a movie alone. Go to a concert alone? Not a chance.

No offense to the OP, but topics on the general chat have gotten so much worse over the past while.....

Concerts are nothing like the CD, concerts are FAR better

I recently went to a concert alone, and had a pretty good time, but it's always better to share your experiences with someone else.

Go to the concert alone. Make some new friends who actually want to fun stuff. Kill two birds with one stone.

I don't think I'd go to any concert that was 140$. The best concert I've ever gone to was 94$ or Maybe 74$ and that was the Up In Smoke Tour back in the day. The lineup was amazing Snoop, Dre, Warren G, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, TQ, Eminem. So I couldn't imagine spending 140$ for a single artist.

oh damn, that would be hell of a tight concert to go to.

sorry accuFLEX that you are finding the OP topic to be not to your taste.

Do it, man. Nothing wrong with going by yourself. You'll probably meet some cool, like-minded people while you're there.

Best concerts I've ever been to have been no-name, crappy ass bands playing for free in local clubs.

    Seriously.

I'd NEVER pay over a hundred bucks to see somebody play live. Ever.

I hate to be one of those that point out the obvious BUT you are not alone.

    140 for McKennit is pricey.
