    Weigh In - 176

Cycle 1, Deload aka boring week..

    Incline Bench
    165 x 10
    165 x 10
    165 x 10
    165 x 10

    Hammer Strength Press
    3 sets

    Hammer Strength High Row
    3 sets

    Notes:
Back is so sore. Not in a good way. Good thing I'm deloading, ill be camping the 8th-12th at the beach, so just running and body weight.

Spent most of my time at the gym getting a co worker lifting, gave him the starting strength routine and showed him how to do all the lifts properly. He's about 140 lbs with all lifts starting at 95< lol. Hopefully he follows through.

I think ill be able to keep pushing the inclines to 185x10, maybe 195. Then maybe ill start ramping the sets or drop to 4x8.

Hey brother... it's a "sore" back pain vs. a piercing type of back pain (possibly nerves in that case) correct?? Just trying to see if I can help, I had serious piercing pain issues that have been almost totally resolves through some therapy.

Jed - its extremely stiff and immobile. can't bend over to pick something up in front of me without pain. I get around fine though lifting everything and bending over as if I were deadlifting lol, deep breath, tight core, etc to avoid pain. Throughout today though its loosened up and is feeling better.

Cards - thanks bud, I'm gonna try to run the beach a lot. I wanna put in about 20 miles over the next four days. I'm gonna eat a lot though. Don't wanna come back home and see 172 or something on the scale haha.

Hell yes, just ordered myself a pair in red. Reebok crossfit nano 2.0.

    Now I'm a real crossfitter

I was gonna get either inov-8/new balance minimalist shoes. Or a pair of oly lifting shoes, but had to go for these. They're almost impossible to find and I've seen zero people in my area with them. Pretty stoked!

Your workouts lately are killer. I'm presuming you're doing your own CF programming and it's quality stuff. I would definitely do those workouts.

Where did you find those Nanos???? I've been looking and they're sold out everywhere. Then again, you probably have a smaller foot than I do. 10.5's are just...impossible to find. I'm probably gonna order inov-8's but can't decide between the 230's and 195's. I really need a decent platform for lifting but gotta be able to run too.

Duuuuuuude! It's 5:30am and you already made my day. I didnt even know Sport Chalet existed. I've got my Nano 2.0's on order. I was ready to get the Ino-v8 195's too. Good thing I waited. Thank you!

You also have bigger feet than I would have expected at 5'8. Didn't mean to insult your foot size..lol

Good WOD. Helen is awful. I cant believe people are out there doing it in under 8 minutes. That's just stupid.

Nice effort on Helen. She's always been a favorite of mine, though I really need to get faster before I can break into the 8s.

    Cards,

I drank a gallon of milk yesterday, and haven't trained for 5 days (excluding today). I lost 3 pounds. I'm almost in the 170s. 200 is poop.

    July 9

Beach run - 1.2 mile run, then walked 1 mile, jogging when I could.

    July 10

    Beach run - 2.3 miles with a 6mph average

    July 11

Trail run - ~1 mile out, walked back. On the way did pushups (3x25), pistols (2x10), pull ups from trees (2x10), and a couple short handstand walks.

Also been doing a little biking, not long or fast enough to count as training though.

You know what big feet mean...

Say, where do you find most of your crossfit info? The official site or moreso from forums, books, etc?
