Have you read much into getting your NSCA CSCS (strength/conditioning cert)??? I started looking into it today... Costs like $500 to test n shit and it sounds pretty tough. There's a good book you can get apparently to help out quite a bit. And you need a Bachelors.

I've always wanted to be a PE teacher. Mainly because I'm lazy and it's the fucking easiest job ever.

But my girlfriend has 3 cousins, one is a kinesiology Major (graduated), one is working on his phys therapy degree, and one is a kinesiolgy Major and pitcher for the phillies (Justin defratus ). There is a little talk of opening a family business for like a physical therapy/ strength and conditioning center. Like terio (I don't know If terio is nation wide but we have them in Kern county).

I think a family business like that would be a damn good idea. So much easier to start something like that when you have more people splitting up the costs. I know a couple guys that got degrees in sports training and now have their own training/coaching company in New York. If you are good at what you do, you will do well.

Alright guys, I'm gonna come back. I've saved up a bit of cash and I have nothing that I need or want to buy, so I blew it all on supps. Besides the benefits they may or may not bring to me physically, they'll definitely provide some extra motivation for getting my ass in the gym.

I got 2 tubs of nitrean, a tub of optimum true mass, muscle pharm CLA and glutamin, optimum multi, fish oil, creatine, and BCAA. I also picked up some cellulor HD (surprisingly good priced fat burner) for the girl friend. She's 5'6 120 but lost almost all tone and muscle since pregnancy. Lol...

I want to lift 2-3 times a week and run 2-3 times a week as well. This time around I'm focused on how I look rather than strength and endurance. But as always, that will change soon. We'll see how it goes.

Oh ya, I'm down to 160. Pathetically small looking, I want to put on 10-12 pounds within 4-6 weeks.

Is lactose the same as all other sugars? I think the answer is obvious but I want somebody to tell me it's not Lol.I can cut out carbs but I can't cut out milk. And 6-8 cups of milk has a ton of carbs.

Sugar is sugar, lactose is no different.

I have read however the insulin/glucose response from milk is different than a meal containing glucose, or even lactose alone. Something about the proteins in milk.

You're gonna be a daddy? Congrats son. That's a shit load of supps. You should pick up some beta-alanine for like $10 and it'll last you 3-4 months.

Thanks guys. Yes, I'm just gonna drink the milk haha.

In vain, I need to look that up. I'm trying to do what you told me, no carbs except before and after working out. The only problem is I drink milk throughout the day so I'm wondering if this would defeat the purpose of what I'm trying to do.

Jed, I am a daddy, my daughter is 14 months old.

I'm taking biology, maybe that's what's sparked my interest in diet and vitamins/minerals. Lately I've been feeling down, tired, moody, etc. I know it's from a bad diet.

I already feel better. Optimum multivitamin is cool, not only does it have vitamins and minerals but it's loaded with enzymes and amino acids and randome stuff like grape seed extract, antioxidants, etc.

I'm taking 6 fish oil caps a day, 6 bcaa caps, creatine, glutamine. Optimum serious mass also has a ton of vitamins, complex carbs, minerals, I take one scoop of that a day. 3 scoops of nitrean a day too.

Maybe a waste of money in most peoples eyes, but better than buying video games or whatever.

I'm lacking in fiber so I ordered two tubs of Optimum fiber. 2 scoops in my first protein shake will bump my fiber intake by 10g. Still only 16g for the day, I think you're supposed to get like 25g.

The only vitamins I'm lacking is magnesium and k. I ordered some ZMA caps, they also have melatonin in them so that should help me get some sleep, I have insomnia lol.

Nice to see you back. Are you trying to gain weight?

I do t think supps are a waste. Food is better I guess but gram for gram, powders are cheaper than meat.

Supplements are helpful and do have their place especially in where you are going with the plan. Take your time though, gaining a pound or even better, a half pound per month really adds up - in other words, slow and moderate gains are better in the long run.

What kinds of foods are you eating, besides milk. I'm really not a fan of supplementing fiber, you should be getting more than enough in your diet. I take it you're not a fan of veggies?

Beef, chicken, cheese, eggs mainly. Caesar dressing and pasta sauce, romaine lettuce. Nothing else is really planned, maybe a slice of pizza or a fast food sandwich here and there. Other than that it's just shakes. No, I don't like veggies. Except for brocolli, I love broccoli, I eat that a couple times a week as well. Besides that, just lettuce for salads.
