The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Haha, I'm sorry for talking like this guys, I probably sound like a jerk.
That's just the "I don't care what other people think" powerlifter attitude coming on....Today this 235lb kid couldn't even pull straight bar 315, and my 159 ass went up to 315 and damn near cleaned it I pulled it so fast, I just looked at him and laughed. Me <-- him

    Some dumb stuff

    Workout:

    Crunches / Bicycles
    x 20
    x 20
    x 20
    x 20
    x 20
    x 20

    Push Press
    135 x 6
    155 x 6
    165 x 6

    Push Ups LOL
    x 10
    x 9
    x 8
    x 7
    x 6
    x 5
    x 4
    x 3
    x 2 static holds

    Thoughts:
Whateva, my PE teacher made me do stuff. It's supposed to be my off day though. No stories today, besides I'm an official line leader for stretching. And on the push ups I was doing claps, 2 reps for every one count, and having freshman sit on my back. Yeeeeeeeahhhhh.

    Deadlifts yo

    Workout:

    Jogging / Walking
    200 yards
    200 yards
    200 yards
    400 yards

    Deadlifts
    255 x 1
    305 x 1
    355 x 1
    365 x 1
    375 x 1
    405 x 1 PR

    Thoughts:
Ya, I ran. My PE coach made me. The 405 consisted of six 35s, six 25s, and the bar. Total. All bumper plates. No belt or suit or anything, just chalk.

And let me just say that I'm famous in 6th period PE. I established myself as the king of that period and can now walk around knowing I am,
    DA SH1T. Haha

Hasnt a super eaten you already?

Your gonna be putting the supers and heavies to shame at this rate
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

    ME Bench / Weight: 167

    Workout:

    Bench Press
    135 x 5
    135 x 5
    185 x 3
    225 x 3
    245 x 1
    265 x 1
    280 x 1
    290 x 1 PR
    225 x 10

    DB Shoulder Press
    40 x 5
    50 x 5
    60 x 5
    80 x 5 PR

    JM Press
    75 x 6
    85 x 6
    95 x 6 PR

    Front Lat Pull Downs
    135 x 6
    150 x 6
    165 x 6 PR

    Triceps Extension
    100 x 28
    100 x 14

    Thoughts:
I'm on fire. Lol, I hit the worst sticking point ever in the middle of the 290 attempt. It took me forever to drive through it. Butt stayed on the bench, I make sure of it every time now, I've widened my foot placement by a lot. On the DB presses I thought I was going to suck because I was tired, but the 60s were cake. So then I tried the 80s because I wanted a PR, even if I didn't get all 5 reps. I PRed my other lifts, I don't really care but all of those red PRs make my workout look purty, hehe.

Get this, in PE class, our coach gave us this workout to do: Abs, upright rows, curls, and overhead triceps extension. All 4x6 except the abs were 4x50. Lmao, I did my abs, 3 sets of 12 with a plate on my chest, then just walked around while everybody was doing rows. Then I started doing BO rows while everybody was curling, and the coach called me over and asked what I was doing. I told him I don't like curling so I'm doing rows to hit my biceps instead. He just gave me a weird look and told me to tell him before I start doing my own thing. Haha, I think I'm going to get kicked out of this class before the end of the year. I got like 10 people skipping upright rows and like 5 other people not curling. I'm gonna take over the class.
