how long after you work out would you say it is ok to eat fats? avocados, cheese, etc. olive oil..

I can't provide you with the correct answer, but I will say this: don't sweat the petty things. Unless your diet is flawless in every other way, eating fat after working out is not going to make a noticeable difference.

I usually wait at least an hour or two afterwards.
Post WO I have the dex/malto/whey shake.
Hour later, 1st meal, carb/protein.
Hour later, 2nd meal, fats/protein/complex carbs.
Thats just what i do...
