Well, just found out I'm going to Mexico again for 10 days. First time I went was bad because it was all junk food and no workouts. So this time I'm going to try to do better. I'm trying to think of what I can bring to get a decent workout in my hotel room. I got to fly with this and cross the border, so take that into account. I was thinking of maybe some bands so I can do some resistance training. Any other creative ideas on a "gym in a bag"?
That or throw some ideas out for a 10 day body weight program. It took me two weeks to recover from my last mexico trip, and now I got to go back. I can't keep playing catch up as these are going to become more and more often.

You'll be in Mexico. Grab some construction trashbags, duct tape, and have some fun with some sandbag training.

can maybe get creative with the furniture in your hotel room. use the beds and the space between them to do dips. or if its a single bed, pull up a chair.
could also use the bed to prop your legs up and do pushups.
this one is half-joking, but if the bed can be moved, you might be able to deadlift it, heh.

I'm stuck in a hotel with no way to fill the bags. I work from 7 in the morning to 7 at night, eat then have maybe an hour to do some exercise. It is dark and I'm not doing stuff outside by myself. I'm not taking full sandbags on the airplane.
The beds are slabs of concrete with a 2" pad on top. Can't move them or lift them.

Push-up (elevated or handstand)
Concrete bed jumps
Concrete bed Dips
Bring a Jump rope and practice double unders or just do singles
Bring bands and do Thrusters (front squat into a push press)
Band Sumo-dead high pulls
OR pick 3+ of the above movements and do 20 seconds of work, and 10 seconds of rest for 8 rounds on each movement and then go directly to the next movement. Only rest you get is the 10 seconds inbetween each movement. (Tabata) Time the entire process as well.
