If you tore it, even a little bit... you'd know. I hear its really really painful. Hit the doc and get it checked out.

I tore mine back in Oct... you pretty much know instantly... if you don't hear it, you feel it... and then you find you can't move it!!! If you try, you will feel like you are tearing it some more. And then you will actually see the bicep "roll up" to the shoulder.. mine did about 1/3 the way...

Yes, you will have bruising... but I think it takes a while... my blood didn't show up for 2 days.. way on the bottom inside underbelly, between the short head and triceps..

If it was actually torn, I doubt you would have been able to punch one time, without severe agony!! If you think it is torn, no ice or anything is really going to help... get to a doctor to determine how severe. Too severe and only surgery can fix... 1/3 like mine and you can choose surgery for the beauty or rehab....

GL... and here is hoping that you didn't tear it..

^^^ I think it has been said in this thread like 2 times...

To the OP I would say rest it for a day or two while trying not to use it. If it still hurts then go see your doctor.

    actually only BICEPS is correct

The singular form of biceps is biceps and the plural form of biceps is biceps. Strange -I know.

There are varities of tears which can occur. You need not have your biceps rolling up your arm to have a tear. What you are describing does sound like a partial tear. I would definitely see a doctor and not train the area again until you do. Do you feel any weakness in the area? Does it "pop" when you try to flex it?

find me the word "bicep" from a medical dictionary/encyclopedia and I will concede my point. Until then, I wouldn't be so quick to cast insults cause you're the one who looks like an ass now.

Bicep is an incorrect derivative of Biceps. However, you are correct, considering that...well...to put it quite simply...it contains "bi-", which means two...in which case we add an "s". But that's not always the case with words such as cacti or mice. I was simply trying to remove the letter "t" from the word the OP used...which was making me twitch having to read.
