    HIIT after Legs

    Does anyone here run (HIIT) after a leg day? I was contemplating it but figured it was a very bad idea. Correct assumption?

    Why would it be bad?
    Full Powerlifting
    Squat - 595lbs -- 270kg -- Dec. 31, '09 (Provincial Record @100kg class)
    Bench - 374lbs -- 170kg -- Dec 20, '08 (@100kg class)
    Dead - 589lbs -- 267.5kg -- Dec 20, '08 (Provincial Record @100kg class)

    5'10", 170lbs, 10% bf

    Bench:255 Squat:295 Dead:400
    Snatch:145 C&J: 205
    Chin-Up: +135 Dip: +100
    Max Pull-Ups: 44

    Well, today my legs hurt and I would not want to heed their growth with strenous sprints

    Well yesteday I did Squats, Lunges, Calfraises, and deadlift and it was a tough day and today I am feeling the results. I was just unsure if it would be bad for me since there is a considerable amount of soreness

    It might help the soreness.

    Overall training volume, and intesnity of the HIIT would come into play as well.
    Complication breeds desperation.
