The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Most carbs one can consume on a cut?

Ok, when I went to the dentist the other day, they took my blood pressure and they said it was a little high, like 127 over 80 or something...So, I'm thinking maybe I can lose 10 lbs. Currently, I'm 5-11 and weigh 230.

How should I figure how many grams of carbs I can eat at the most per day on a cut?
Is it based on weight or LBM? I'm guessing my LBM would be in the mid 190's.
Is it 1 gram per LBM or maybe .5 per LBM? Thanks for any help and sorry if this topic has been covered recently.

The macro breakdowns are 1 gram of protein per pound of LBM, .5 grams of fat per pound of LBM, and the rest can come from whatever you want to meet your caloric needs...whether it be fat, carbs, or protein. There isn't really a minimum for carbs, it's a personal preference. On a cut, you might want to try and fit most of your cals in pre and/or post workout.

I've never had my blood pressure checked at the dentist.
