The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    pulls

    DL, sumo:
    135 x 8
    225 x 5
    275 x 5
    315 x 3 (add belt)
    365 x 1
    405 x 1
    415 x 1 (add metal v-type)

i really didn't seem to get too much from the suit on pulls, probably because i dont know how to use it. any tips for pulling in this suit?

    db rows:
    70's x 25
    90's x 20

    hammer strength high rows, 3 x 6

    face pulls, 3 x 8

    BB rows, 3 x 8

okay workout, my back was still sore from pulling last week. i made the decision to pull heavy this week, probably a bad idea. day off tomorrow.

Yeah, for pulling sumo: make sure the matrial of the suit on the outside of your legs is higher than the inside of your legs. Makes a big difference. I get huge pop from my suit.

here's the fat man shake thats gotten me to 307, and slowly makes it harder for me to wipe my ass. i never make these the same, sometimes i add some chocolate syrup, whatever i feel like. but this is the standard template.

    The Fat Man Shake
    1 Met-Rx MRP (chocolate)
    4 tbsp natty PB
    2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream (i usually put more, use whatever flavor)
    32 oz milk
    2 reese cups

ends up being about 2000 cals with about 100 g of protein. we won't talk about the fat content.

Are you talking about not being able to reach your ass due to SHW lat cramping, or are you talking about textbook pudding s**ts? Because I am quite familiar with both.

HAHAHAAHAHA! Welcome to Rhodestown--pudding s**ts for all!!!! The worst part is when you get the pins and needles in the legs and you gotta straighten them to get the feeling back in. Then you stand up to wipe and you're completely numb, and then you fall forward and try not to get your s*** on the wall.

yeah, you look down and you have red dots on your legs from where your elbows have been resting. at least ive had those lately, because i busted out the old school gameboy in there with me recently. sometimes i just say f@ck it and get in the shower after. i could talk about bathroom adventures for hours, haha.

oh, i forgot to say this awhile back. my belt no longer fits over me + my suit, so i'm gonna have to go to a 4X. i can wear it when i go raw, on the last 2 holes. this is what i have now:

    http://www.inzernet.com/detail_econo...CON_POWER_BELT

no complaints, for 40 bucks it served its purpose very well. would it be worth getting one of those power belts from elite fts? i think they are around 100 bucks, should i just get another inzer power belt?

Go with the Inzer. Elite is a little bit pricy. I have a 13mm Inzer Forever belt, it's awesome. I believe it's 5XL

i was thinking elite was pretty pricey, that inzer 40 dollar belt is very stiff and solid. i was thinking about getting a 5X, because i mean right now i'm eating 3 mcchickens, 2 double cheeseburgers, and a metrx shake. (post workout snack) and on the 3X i use the last holes. probably gonna do this so i dont have to buy another in 6 months (or less).

    squats

oly squats, ATF, just me & the weight:
    bar x 10
    135 x 8
    135 x 8
    185 x 8
    245 x 8

these were brutal. i decided to go heavier for a few reasons:
    1. i already beat the s*** outta my body this week, why stop now?!
    2. there was a dance team at the gym, they were all watching me
    3. SFW!

    wide stance:
    295 x 5
    335 x 3
    385 x 2

thats all i could take. no need to mess with nickels dimes or chips tonight.

    GM's:
    bar x 10
    95 x 8
    135 x 8
    185 x 8
    225 x 8

    reverse hypers:
    BW x 8
    +25 x 8
    +50 x 8

    roman chair abs, 3 x 10

beat the s*** out of the legs tonight, this week was a pretty intense weak with the iron, depending on how i feel i'm probably going to take it kind of easy next week. i always say that, but never do. monday is my dogs birthday, he'll be 1, so i'm gonna be pretty busy feeding him steaks all day.
