In the commercial gym, I avoid that by using the iPod and earbuds when I don't want to be bothered. I'll take them out if someone looks like they might want to ask a reasonable question, but it does a good job of filtering out the nonsense. I don't want to be an ass, but sometimes I just want to get my training in without 5 minute conversations about nothing between sets.

    ME bench

    stretching and foam rolling

    bench w/dbl'd minis:
    bar x 5
    135 x 3
    155 x 1
    185 x 0 missed at lockout???
    155 x 4 x 1
    165 x 1

my bench has gone wayyyyyyy downhill. my lockout has always been weak, but not that weak. i'm going to suck it up and start working hard with the boards and bands.

    tate press:
    30s x 10
    35's x 10
    40's x 10
    40's x 10

    DB row:
    75 x 20
    100 x 20
150 x 6...hell of a grinder on left side but i got em, i wasn't going for 20 reps but this was too heavy

    pec dec, 3 x 10

    light band pull apart, 3 x 10

    20 min elliptical

one of my training partners i've kind of taken under my wing is going to start posting her log here. shes just started powerlifting and is doing deadlift only at the same meet i'm doing. i'd appreciate it if you guys would give her some tips and s*** when she gets her log posted. she's strong as an ox for just starting powerliftiing.

    ME squat/dl at cell block

    stretching

box squats @ parallel, all sets done with a choked blue and a choked purple on each side:
    *vikings on*
    bands x 3
    135 x 2
    185 x 2
    *belt*
    225 x 2 x 2
    *suit bottoms on*
    275 x 2
    275 x 2
    275 x 1
    295 x 1

all pretty easy...taking that s*** out of the rack was hell though

speed pulls in briefs, 315 x 6 singles

    reverse hypers, 3 plates x 3 x 10

    hangman abs, green band, 4 x 15

wanted a 315 squat but it was so hot i was done. i have no doubt in my mind i would have thrown up. someone forgot to keep the air conditioning on over night i think. i'm sore as s***, got a speeding ticket for 170 dollars on the way back, i'm ready for this week to be over, haha. in 2 weeks we're doing blues & greens, that will be hell. i'll go full gear for that and go for a 1rm and set my opener in stone after that. i'm tired of doing bands!!!!!!!!!!
