Sign of a good workout, haha!

Plenty of volume on that lower day!

Keep the weight pretty light on those Sumo SLDLs; they're just there to give a little extra workout to your hammies.#

    Great squatting!

    16.08.12 - Diet

Thought i'd give an example of what i eat. Here's what i had today -

    Meal 1 -
1 Slice of wholemeal toast with olive spread
    50g Cottage cheese
    100g Cherry yoghurt
    300ml Semi-skimmed milk
1 Cup green tea with added creatine (3g) and taurine (1g)
1 Mulitivitamin and 2 fish oil capsules

    Meal 2 -
    1 Pack instant noodles
    Half a tin of tuna
    200ml Semi-skimmed milk

    Meal 3 -
    1 Baked sweet potato
    200g Grilled rump steak
    Grilled mushrooms and yellow pepper
    1 Cup of green tea

    Meal 4 -
    5 Fish fingers
2 Slices wholemeal bread with olive spread
    200ml semi-skimmed milk
1 Cup of green tea with added taurine (1g)

    Meal 5 -
1 Slice wholemeal toast with olive spread
    75g Cottage cheese
    300ml Semi-skimmed milk with added taurine (1g)

I have to eat on a budget (hence the lack of a protein supplement) but think i still do pretty well. Calories are kept at around 2500 on off days and 2700 on training days. Just under 2500 today i think.

1hr+10-15min was the norm for me too, that's ample amount of time to get the work in proper.

Tried out the gym's new power rack today, real big heavy duty thing. Has attachments for bands, is high enough to press in stood up and much wider than the old ones. Had a lot of fun using it, allowed me to widen my stance on squats which gave me more power out the hole, allowed for a wider grip which helped stability and doesn't shake like hell when you rerack the weight which is always a bonus! Didn't notice till i was leaving that they've been kind enough to acquire a GHR station which i'll be testing out next week, just need a reverse hyper setup now!

Good deal man, glad to hear it.

Thanks mate. Was planning for a heavier double with straight weight but locking out with the bands proper wiped out my lower back!
